So, finally the in-tact version of Too Far aired. What did everyone think?

Myself, I loved all the little bits of attention to detail like Amethyst's hair, Lauren Zuke's twitter alien on Peridot's tape recorder and the glassiness of Peridot's eyes/visor after she saved Amethyst (particularly the way the VA hit the line 'Amethyst!' when the drill-head is about to fall on her).

Has everyone caught up on the interim shorts?

Oh man, it's been way too long since we got an episode...

But yeah, I did se the "Fusion" short that most recently came out. The ending, where each pair of Alexandrite's hands were making the signature pose of their individual gem, was too cute!

Did you guys also see the pictures from the Gallery Nucleus event? Rebecca Sugar made a huge stamp of Steven's head, and a bunch of other members of the Crewniverse created "fan" arts as well! If you haven't already seen them, I definitely recommend checking them out

And we're back from hiatus as of January 4th!

Has everyone seen the teaser for The Answer? Sugar has been hyping this one up in recent press as having a distinct style and we have a Lamar-Katie storyboard to look forward to.

I'm so excited for The Answer! The preview is amazing, and the entire week sounds like it'll make for a great stevenbomb! I'm just curious - the other 3 stevenbombs all introduced at least one new gem/fusion... who could be introduced this time around?

Steven + the Crystal Gems fusion to top Alexandrite's height?

A lot of people think we'll see Blue Diamond, or a pre-mirror Lapis, or hear Yellow Diamond in the final episode of the bomb. It's like fan speculation bingo everywhere you look!

Some folks are even hanging out for an Amethyst/Peridot fusion, but I think that's way too early days to see happen.

I adore SU. I got my fourth tattoo recently and it's my first fandom tattoo. I don't want many fandom-related ones since most of the designs I come up with are more personal stuff but I couldn't resist!

Steven Universe is my favorite cartoon hands down. I really like that it discusses heavy themes such as loss. I don't like it when people classify SU as a "children's cartoon," because it makes it seem like so much less than it actually is.

As of yesterday, I've seen both of the new promos for the next StevenBomb and I'm really excited. I can't wait to see "The Answer."

Also, GoatsInnuendo, I really like your new tattoo. It looks great!

Even though they are not official promos, I am so super hyped from watching them.

For those who have seen the leaked previews...what's your take on the Lapis silhouette?

Wow...The Answer may be one of the most visually fascinating episodes of this show I've ever seen.

Steven's Birthday seemed every bit the calm before the storm and I can't wait for It Could've Been Great!  Word of warning to my fellow fans though, apparently Cartoon Network's sneak peek of the ep was riddled with spoilers so be wary of that.

Additionally, there is also a fake sneak peek going around that is actually the first 2 minutes of the episode.

I'm excited too! I really love the color palettes for a lot of the gem storyline scenes!!

These episodes have been simply spectacular, to say the least! I'm really excited for Thursday & Friday.

How good was this month's Stevenbomb!??

It Could've Been Great was amazing and Message Recieved and Log Date capped off a great arc that every anime fan saw coming from a mile away lol

We're back on hiatus now but Matt Burnett has hinted that we'll enjoy the scheduling the show will be getting when we return and we do have the school special comic next month to look forward to.

Message Received was my favorite episode of the Stevenbomb, mainly because Peridot called Yellow Diamond a clod.

I also loved the song in It Could Have Been Great!

Stevenbomb 4 was AMAZING! I loved just about every episode in the bomb, and I think we arguably learned more about gem lore in these 5 episodes than we have during most of the show. We got some great songs, some cool new faces, and a Yellow Diamond face that's meme-worthy.

I hope this hiatus ends soon - the bomb format is great, but the hiatuses in-between always kill me. I wonder just how many more episodes will make up the "Barn Arc," as the Crewniverse calls it...

Be wary if you use Tumblr too as I hear they are unavoidable there as well.

I got both leaks recommended for me on YouTube. I'm now only using YouTube to watch my four favorite YouTubers rather than searching up Steven Universe episode reviews, which I'll probably be doing for the next few months, so I don't get any more SU spoilers. I've been getting nearly every event in this show spoiled for me lately.

That's terrible.

It's so hard to avoid the leaks nowadays. Even the fake leaks still spoil the show because they build on the actual leaks.

At the very least, we can take comfort in the fact that a slip up like this might mean the show is returning soon? A bunch of peeps have been speculating a March return and that could very well be the case.

Good news SU fans! A new set of comics are coming out and scheduled to be released over the next coming months starting this month. They will be centred around a self-contained story instead of being a series of vignettes and interludes like the first time.

They also have a distinct title; instead of being Steven Universe, these comics are titled Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems.

No news yet on the Too Cool for School special yet however. Hopefully we see that soon as the hiatus continues.

As far as leaks go, I can never resist them... So naturally I've seen the two CN UK clips. While very satisfying in the midst of a hiatus, I think they created more questions than they answered.
