Just looking at my games I've realised that there are lots of them I bought, thinking I'd play them right off the bat, but in the end they've just been left to collect dust.
For example, from my collection, Grim Fandango, Sim City, Kingdom Hearts and Far Cry 3 have all gone unplayed.
Grim Fandango and Sim City were bought second hand, Kingdom Hearts was given to me to try, and Far Cry 3 was a present.
I haven't got around to playing them yet. Of course, these are only a few examples.
Grim Fandango is fantastic. I normally dislike Adventure type games but Grim Fandago has so much personality and charm that I can't help but love it, you should definitely give it a shot some day.
Discounting Steam games, I got Inazuma Eleven for the DS over 3 years ago and to this day I have yet to play it.
Currently Playing--------------
Yakuza: Like a Dragon, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Wait, yeah, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on my Vita has gone unplayed here as well. Keep putting it off since 1 isn't included, and I want to play in order.
Currently Playing--------------
Like, a lot of stuff, but also nothing because indecisive
But then I'd be regressing in gameplay. It is tempting to just boot up 3 and Wiki the other two afterwards, but I've held off this long (a year+). Can't hurt to wait a bit longer. I guess, lol.
"Sticker Star... Well, I played it a little, but didn't do anything substantial."
Don't play it any further. Just listen to it's soundtrack instead, it's just as enjoyable. Best part of the game.

I always play the games I buy, but in 2010/2011, my cousin in Japan sent be a bunch of his DS games that he stopped playing and I haven't played any of them because they didn't look very interesting.
Ive played all my games, however my least play games are Monster Hunter G (because its in japanese), Soul Blade and Final Fantasy 5/6 because I keep losing my PS1 memory cards.
Currently Playing--------------
Final Fantasy VII, AC:NH
One of the newer Ratchet & Clanks. I never touched it once.
Ni No Kuni for a while, though it doesn't count, because I started playing it about a week after someone else came over and played. Then I never touched it again.
Uh... A few dream cast games. Can't think of or recall which. One is a non -Madden NFL game.
Ray Man Origins or Legends. The case it sitting across from me, but I don't feel like reading which one it is. I have played this at my fiancee's house about a year or so ago, and then at their old house 3 years ago before that. Infact, the same copy, I bought it as a gift and they loved it. I did too. But, I borrowed it while waiting for the release of Dark Souls 2, and never played it on my own console. Same story goes for Ni No Kuni, and Ratchet & Clank.
I'm sure there are some others too, I just can't think of them. x)

I originally picked it up because it seemed pretty interesting! I'll definitely have to try it out
"also MGS3 comes before 1 chronologically anyway and it just so happens to be the best one in the series so you might as well play it"
don't man if you play chronologically you ruin a lot of twists and surprises. It's much better playing in numerical order.
And I've got way too many. I never buy games for full price so when I see something good for cheap I'll jump on it. I'd say there's probably a good 100 games for the PS3 that I bought on the PSN that I haven't downloaded yet, let alone played. And now that I don't have a PS3 it looks like it's gonna stay that way lol. There's also a good bit of Vita games I haven't gotten around to playing yet. Mostly cuz they're long RPGs and I'm already neck deep in a few so I don't wanna pile more ontop.
My PS4 collection is looking good tho. Granted I haven't beaten a lot of the games and there's a few free PS+ games I haven't touched. But I think I got at least half way through every game I actually bought.
I liked the first Mass Effect, which apparently everyone else didn't... =/ I got angry when I lost my data, and just gave the others away, which weren't up my alley anyway.
I didn't like any of the Dead Spaces. But, luckily someone gave that to me in the first place, so no cash lost.
Yeah, but don't get me wrong. I would love to give Mass Effect another try. I didn't like the changes made to the sequels, that's all. I don't think either of them are bad games, and DEFINITELY think they are worth playing through. I just lost my drive. Lol.
Dead Space on the other hand... It wasn't doing it for me.
I once placed the demo for Dead Space 2 though, and it seemed so good... I didn't have a chance to play it though.
