Portal is only overrated because Portal 2 exists. Portal 2, great game, Portal 1, fun tech demo. But people often blend the two together since they're both so short.

Bravely Default was super overhyped for me. My boyfriend is a total Square freak and he tried to get me into it but it was just so boring. Normally story is enough to get me through a dull game but nothing about Bravely was interesting to me. It's such a shame though, I loved the art style...

It's $20 at my work for the PS4 right now along with Wolfenstein and Unity. Really tempting.
Destiny being overhyped was pretty much the reason why I created this thread. It was the biggest game I could think of that has been wayyy too overhyped. False advertising and whatnot.

Didn't see anyone say Watch Dogs. Actually most games from 2014 that were supposed to be great were overhyped. CoD, Destiny, The Elder Scrolls Online etc. For overrated I'd say Dragon Age: Inquistition. Wasn't that good tbh.
