This is a somewhat difficult question for me to answer... The person I most respect is my now late great uncle. He was such an intelligent and wise man. Beyond that, he was such a jolly and humorous fellow, and always enjoyed being around the kids. He never had any kids of his own, but he was indeed a family man. He somehow managed to know all of his family's names, even down to his great-great-nephews. Even though he lived on the other side of the country, he always made an effort to keep in contact with everybody and even visit once a year. He was a very big man, and often cracked jokes about his own size. To be honest, I like to think he had such a big body to house that huge heart of his. Sadly, it wasn't until after his passing in 2013 until I fully realized how amazing this man really was. While I always respected him greatly, and thought he was a wonderful person, I had never realized how successful in life he had been. He was always very humble, and would never talk about himself or even show his wealth at all. He would always ask about me, how I was doing, and what I was doing with my life. Even towards the end when his health was really failing, he refused to have people worry about him. So with all that being said, he truly is the person I respect most. I will never forget about his kindness, and the influence he has had on me.
