I never thought I would find a LoZ thread here. I can see that most of you guys are enjoying the Majora's Mask 3D so far.

For me, well I've been playing hyrule warriors for the past 2 weeks (3rd week by 2-18-15), but a lot of struggles has got the best of me for adventure mode in terms of character's DPS. my biggest struggles was getting agitha and darunia's level 3 weapons. I don't even know the A-Rank requirements for the level 3 weapon(s) mission(s) in adventure mode.

^^Huh, never knew that. Always learning something new about MM.

The A rank requirements are
4,000 damage on most stages 10,000 on the top row and a few others
under 15 minutes
and 1,200 kills

Well Thanks anyway. I had a hard time not taking any damage around that range and not to mention trying to get the remaining level 3 weapons in terms of DPS for darunia and agitha.

to make it easier on yourself try making the potion that upgrades all the weapons and just spam arrows (thats what I've been doing on the TP map)

Bombs always work in terms of crowd control. I should've just went with that mixture or use bomb+ skill if i ever get one upon appraising.

Yeah bombs work also for agitha use c4 ( weak, weak, weak, strong) into your butterfly combo does decent damage on things or boomerang enemies and c3 (weak, weak, strong) oh and c5 (weak, weak, weak, weak, strong) is damaging and can be used to combo into the butterfly ^^ oh and c1 is an infinite juggle so oh and if you are low on time ignore Zelda Link is the commander in the mission Zelda isn't needed to be beat >.> darunia can not help you on tho

I've been playing Majora's Mask 3D like crazy today, exploring things, mostly just progressing through the main story. I've made it to Goron village and just obtained the Goron mask, as well as collected some hot spring water and melted the anvil thing in the blacksmith shop.

Being a Goron is fun and a lot more convenient in terms of faster travel. I should really acquire the bunny hood too. I think I'm getting closer to getting into the Snowhead Temple, the second dungeon of the game.

I really liked the Woodfall temple, so I am excited for the Snowhead one!

Well i've seen some people go for the masks first before going to the 1st dungeon which is the woodfall temple. For me, well I just normally go for the Bremman, Kafei's, and blast mask first before getting the bunny hood and then the rest of the masks that i need to aim for before going to the woodfall temple.

Now as for hyrule warriors, I was able to get agitha's level 3 weapon and that Item power-up did the trick. It's pretty much hard to deal with crowd controls with C2 and C5. All I need to deal with is getting ruto's level 3 weapon and then the rest of the weapons. I know that I didn't unlock zant yet, but I had to put that on hold till I get agitha's Level 3 weapon. Now for Lana's Level 3 summoning gate, time management, dealing with impa, saving my ally, and base were my problems. I'm starting to think that Adventure mode is hard without a co-op partner I believe.

When you get to like lvl 50+ the first map is pretty doable ^^ did you get patch 1.5? if so you could go farm for 4,000 locked skills to make Lana's easier but if not I have some hints for that one too ^^ hit the strong attack button till you get argarok or manhandala and use c5 for argarok and c3 for manhandala (abuse the invincibility frames) argarok is amazing at getting a ton of kills quickly and manhandala is useful against single targets ^^ oh you can also dodge cancel out of the manhandala combo at a certain point.

Well Lana's Level is close to 50 if that's what you're asking me. My only problem in getting level 3 summoning gate for Lana is time so I don't know the routes. By the time I start, I just go after 1 officer that's near me and then go after the fairy of fire and impa and then save my base and the commander, but not sure if saving the commander is necessary although I do need my commander alive though.

I dunno what are the A-Rank requirements for zant and ruto's level 3 weapon. Last time when i tried to get ruto's level 3 weapon, I took more damage and time than I thought.

time and kills never change only the amount of damage you can take Ruto's is 4,000 still tho honestly on hers you just have to get really lucky about where the chickens spawn

I'm just getting the Gold Skulltulas so I can get the bonus map. Got 5 more to complete the first illustration.

I hate getting the skultulas I haven't attempted them in a bit ever since the second one in the forest stage in legend mode it spawned after I killed Gohma...

I only finished the 1st illustration so it only took me about 2 hard modes to do the job after that i have to do the rest on the other characters as well, but i'm making them look easy now that I have level 3 weapons for the characters on legend / Free modes.

I think I may have to rush to get ruto's level 3 weapon after I get 1200 kills in terms of time and DPS, but I dunno If i should go with item power-up again.

Ruto's I found the hardest I can't remember if there was a giant boss or not >.< but if there is Ruto is like a master of breaking the weak point gauge with just her normal attack string the bubbles on the last move do a ton of damage to it

There was no giant boss in ruto's level 3 weapon. It's Just cuccos and the enemy forces against volga as I know about. I normally use ruto's C4 and C6 for mobbing (and possibly invincibility frames to go along with those). Being overwhelmed can be my biggest problem.

Ruto's giant wave move doesn't give invicnibilty but you can build up her c1 by dog canceling either her c3 or c4 can't remember for safe damage

I'm only 2 Gold Skullutas away from completing the 1st illustration. Once I do that, I'm just gonna level up more. I already got one Gold Skulluta in Hard Mode which was easy, now I just gotta get one in Hard Mode and the other on the final stage that I missed.

I was trying to get Link's fairy weapon but it won't let me advance to the spot. Do I have to get an A rank next go it? Some of them ain't easy.

You have to A rank Zelda's lvl 2 baton that is beside it honestly I found the lvl 2 fairy mission easier so maybe try that instead of the rank 1 for now?

Is MM3D worth getting if I already have the N64 version on Virtual Console?

nintendofan85: I think it is, because there are a lot of improvements to the game! If you liked the game before you'll definitely like the new one, and if you weren't into it before it's definitely the best way to try it for the first time with the improvements they've made.

well MM3D has different area layouts than the N64 version so you're gonna need a new guide to help you there plus do what you need to do first after getting your 1st mask.

as for hyrule warriors, zelda's level 2 baton isn't that easy so you have to take advantage on executing weak points. don't go for the heart containers yet if you're aiming for A-Rank and Zelda's Level 2 baton since they consume time so go for them after you get the A-Rank and zelda's level 2 baton. If you're using zelda's rapier, usually her C5 does all the clearing while you move if you don't have any light orbs on. What I may suggest is that go for ghirahim first before taking out the rouge force commander. If you can't get A-Rank, I may suggest leveling up zelda a little higher, but don't spend money on the training dojo.
