I think the rarest amiibo I've found was Sonic at Meijer, but I don't care too much for him so I didn't buy. And once I saw a bunch of Megamans.

I've been attempting to use this instock checker for amiibos, but I feel like I'm gonna sleep through it and it'll suck.

I have a feeling that you really can't find Shulk or Meta Knight. Villager as well.

I picked up a Mega Man at GameStop this past weekend. Not for collecting really, I actually have been playing with it and training it. It's been pretty fun!

For those you in the US, Best Buy has reduced its Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) to $30, down from $100.
What this mean specifically for Amiibo and gamer enthusiasts is that you can save 20% on all new physical video game software, including collectible figures such as Amiibo and Skylanders.

For a $60 game, you'd only be paying $48 excl. tax, and so you'd have to buy three $60 games to "break even" on your GCU membership purchase. The membership lasts two years, as well.

Amiibos would cost 10.39, saving you about $3-4 per amiibo, and we all know there's a lot more of them coming in both series of figures.

Oddly, only one amiibo has released that I'm interested in, and it's pretty common: Kirby. I'm interested in Robin and Ness, but I fear they'll be rare, especially Ness. I'd also be interested in Palutena, Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B., and Dr. Mario, but something tells me that the latter three will also be very rare if they ever get a release. I'm really curious to see how a Mr. Game & Watch amiibo would turn out, with him being flat and all.

I have no interest in the Super Mario line of amiibo. The Gold Mario amiibo looks kind of ugly, in my opinion.

I finally broke down and bought an amiibo (Toon Link). I'm hoping that I can control my urge to collect everything and only go for those I really want. [A]

The amiibos that I want are (in order of want-ness levels): Shulk, Mega Man, Sonic, Pit, Ness, and Dark Pit (whenever the last two come out). I would like a regular one like Mario or Pikachu, but Nintendo said that the more well-known characters will always be available. So I'm not hunting for those.

How's the amiibo hunting going, guys? I've had absolutely no luck whatsoever myself. I went into town last weekend to check if they had any and all I could find were those darn Super Mario ones. Every store I went to had a huge amount of stock of every character for those (probably because the game only just realised that day). I went to JB Hi-Fi and they had a Japanese Donkey Kong amiibo. You know the struggle is real when you start finding imported amiibo.

Anywho, I'm probably gonna hold out now until the next wave comes out. No use looking now if all I'm finding are empty shelves. If you think you're having trouble finding amiibo, just visit Australia and see what we have. Seriously, anything you find here, whether it be a Peach or Pikachu, is considered rare.

Gosh, I told myself in the first place that I'd never buy an amiibo. After buying a Fox and Kirby, I became addicted. I'm only collecting unicorn/rare or the ones I'm interested in though.

I find it funny how the "Super Mario" Amiibos are larger and more detailed than the Smash Bros Amiibos.

I thought I would never want to preorder any amiibo but after the direct I need to secure a Wooly World Yoshi and the Splatoon 3 Pack. I absolutely must have them.

And the animal crossing cards if I see people start planning ahead to buy lots of them. Jigglypuff is cute too but I can wait.

I will definitley get a yarn Yoshi.

I want to preorder Jigglypuff, and maybe Robin but that's it. Is Palutena wave 5?
