I just got back from some traveling. Before I left I spent time on this site and sent out some friend requests to exchange codes. I tried hanging out online to see if any of them show up to play, but I haven't seen any of them yet. No one has ever visited me. Trying to set up a visit with someone here never works out. And to top it off I got a weird message about deleting my friend request.  

Obviously, I'm not having any luck here in finding friendly, active players to visit my town or have me visit their town. It's frustrating as I'd like to be able to have all the different fruits in my town and collect signatures and all the things that can only be done if I visit or have visitors. Plus it's fun to meet people from all over and see how they decorate and play AC.     

So are there any places online where I can find friendly, active players? The Facebook group doesn't seem to be very active, and I don't really know where else to look. Please help me out with some suggestions. Thanks!

I'm sorry you've having a hard time finding people to wi-fi with. If you look down a few posts you'll also see some other people trying to find people. I'm afraid this forum isn't very active and several of us (I included) don't wi-fi much. I recommend posting around when you can and join the slightly more active crowd in the General NL Board and get to know people a bit, start exchanging some private threads, etc. and you'll probably find some people who will play with you. You can also post in the Wi-fi Lobby or look for others who've posted there.

Try jvgs! They are very strict but always very active. Also, I'm pretty active if you want to play sometime ^^

I tend to have a hard time finding people too! I tend to play with them once and then they drop off the face of the earth if you would want to play sometime I would love too though!

You'll mostly find people hosting games from time to time in Wi-Fi lobbies, but most are a one-time thing. I'll send you a FCR and hope to see you sometime online.

I am having the same issue. I send several requests but no replies. I send you a request.  I play most evenings!

I play mostly at night, after 8pm EST (after the little one goes to bed). I'd also love to be able to have someone visit or that I could visit, as I can't upgrade my train station or anything else due to lack of visitors.

I'm always looking for new towns to visit, or to host people coming to visit. I'm going to send some FCRs to the folks who have responded on this thread.

I'd also like to visit or have you visit.  I'm not super active in that I don't play daily, but I do play relatively regularly. I forgot how to send and request friend codes though. So if you'd like to swap codes let me know and remind me how it's done again.

Btw, I am playing New Leaf. My avatar says City Folk. I don't play that one much anymore. And my town in new leaf is Karlogi.

Hye, DulceSweets, I sent you an FCR. All you have to do is accept it and then add my code to your 3DS, and then I'll add you and we'll be able to visit each other.

I'd love to meet some other GG NL players. I'm in the UK and have been playing animal crossing since 2007 (I started on wild world). I used to have a group of gamers that I communicated with through the old Nintendo message app before they stopped supporting it. I'd love to be able to visit other towns, have people come over and generally see some open gates!

I am on every night at 10:30 ACC time.  I even tend to drop off items for others to gab when I can find an active town.  (fossils, gracie clothes, paintings I already have...)

Hi, Tzuzoo. If you want to send a code request to someone in this thread, you can just click the blue "WiFi" at the top right of their post.

You can also go to the left navigation bar of the page, click on "My Friend Codes," then at the top nav bar of the MFC page, click on "Friend Code Requests" and you can type in any name and send a request.

I wouldn't mind getting a few friend codes either.  I try to play at least once a day.  Right now I'm working on getting my town to look the way I want.
