The Umi SR is really pretty! I wish I had the gems to try and idolize her, but I don't think I can do it. By the time I have an adequate number of gems, the event will be over, and I'll probably just save up for the next 10+1 draw. Ah well.

It's score match season!! I always seem to enjoy the game more when there's a score match going on, though I'm not quite sure what it is about it. I'm not a very competitive person, so I doubt it's about competing with others.. they're songs we've typically played on EX already, so it's not the newness of it.. I just feel that the pacing is really fun, and it's definitely cool "interacting" with people, even if it's just seeing their names in the waiting lobby. This is the second event I play on my "second account" on my phone. Being rank 47 again is a bit of a drag, not for the LP, but just not having a team that can get S scores on hard songs, so I'm stuck playing normal. I'm sure it'll pay off and be more efficient in the end!

Yeah, it's very rare for me to waste LP if I use it all up before I go to sleep now I have a decent amount of LP. ^.^

Score Match is fun for me purely because I like saying "Yay, I'm no. 1!" even though I probably shouldn't... & I like seeing everybody's names even if occasionally you get some disturbing ones... Good luck on trying to boost your 2nd account! & hope it can be successful in the event even if it isn't full of SRs & URs yet.

The promo UR Nozomi distribution thing will be from April 21st until May 31st in all LLSIF regions. ^.^ Log in 5 times during that period and get her. JP will also be getting a set of Music S.T.A.R.T!! Rs & new daily songs from the S2 BRs.

I did 1 random 10+1 draw yesterday to see if i can get some of the new Job SR and the White Day Hanayo UR appeared! * ^ * It's funny because i did 5+ draws before when she just came out but didn't manage to get her but when i'm not aiming for her i get the card! I guess this game gives you better things the less you care!! xD

I finally got my first non-R card from a scouting ticket on JP! I ended up getting the new Umi SR! And then I was heavily debating doing a 10+1 or saving my gems for limited pure scouting, but caved and did my draw. I ended up getting SR Nico (Job), SR Nozomi (Constellation), and SR Nico (Constellation)!! A 3SR pull! And since the constellation set if my favourite, having two more SRs from it (previously I only had constellation Eli) really made my day. c:

My main advice would be don't spend your love gems if you fail a song. Love gems are rare so save them for when you really need them.

How's the event going so far? I did the 'day one event SR rush' for the first time, and it was pretty fun! Not something I can do for every event, but I'm glad I did it once to see what it was like. RICEisBEST.

I think I saw you in the top 20 on the first day which was impressive! I rushed for the last Rin but ended up spending too many loveca so slowing it down this time. ^.^' I'm still just about inside the top 800 I think & just got the SR. Should be in the top 4000 at the end. It's a lot easier since they expanded the tiers. The older events were so stressful!

So what are the points of getting all the different members and how do I get to do more songs and practices? I think I'm in chapter 1 part 3 of the main storyline so far. I like how it's a rhythm game with story! Reminds me very much of the K-On! anime

Ah-- yup. That was definitely me in the top 20. I reached 10th place in the overall ranking on that first day, but got knocked out pretty quickly. uvu; Now I'm just waiting for the EX and 4x to come out so I can spend the rest of my tokens. I'm still unsure if I'll go for tier 1 or 2.. probably depending on where I land with these tokens, and what the cutoffs are predicted to be.

PiperattheGates Yes, a lot of people think Love Live! is a sort of spiritual successor to K-On! There is a Love Live! anime which I'd really recommend if you enjoy the game as it helps you learn more about the characters. I'm rewatching it at the moment. & the wiki MewMewGirl linked to is really good for stuff about the game and getting the hang of it.

Different members give you different attributes (smile, pure or cool) which help you score better on songs depending on attributes. So if your team is all blue rings, they'll do better on the cool/blue songs. Rare and above members will also have special abilities that can help you score better. You'll get more songs as you rank up and finish parts of the storyline. I think you get about two songs per chapter?

MewMewGirl I thought your points seemed low lately but I forgot you can save tokens during token events. I've heard scary things about Kodoku na Heaven EX...

I was really excited for Kodoku na Heaven EX (and I still am, don't get me wrong!) but then it was revealed that we wouldn't get the really difficult version that was on JP.. the new algorithm one is what we'll be getting, so notes won't be 'everywhere and anywhere' like it supposedly was before. I find it slightly disappointing, but I'm sure I'll struggle enough to FC the version we'll be getting nonetheless.

I currently have 1320 tokens saved up.. and I think I'm standing at around 11-13 love gems spent for the event? Whatever got me up to the 11000 points needed for the SR rush. I didn't spend any after that spike in rankings I managed.

When Love Live Sunshine comes out, i wonder if it well it's own new game or get implemented to SIF? I don't think i can manage 2 SIF's.. >.<

I'd guess separate game? iDOLM@STER has separate games for regular, Cinderella Girls, Million Live, SideM, etc so Love Live! will probably do the same. Plus 18 main idols would make it really hard to get your favourite idol's cards in standard drawing and there would be huge gaps between each girl's events... I wonder if the Sunshine game would be the same but with the new girls or if they'd try something a bit different? It's probably easier to do a LLSIF clone.

I'm sitting around 30 gems in JP right now, so this'll boost me to.... well, drawing sooner than I otherwise would be.

Mm, I agree that it would likely be a separate game. I think it would be most unique to have a slightly different game.. but still, tapping along to the rhythm would be enjoyable again anyways, so it's unlikely I'd complain. I don't think they'll make a game for it immediately though, since they'd have barely anything to work from for content (either story or songs), and much less would we get a translated version of the app anytime soon. It'll be interesting to see where it possibly goes.

Things like the Nozomi UR & worldwide movie showings make me think they might want to incorporate the rest of the world more in the Sunshine franchise. So maybe we might get the Sunshine game at the same time. Being a year behind isn't too bad though because you can tell what events are coming up so you know when to save loveca, etc. Actually knowing KLab you're probably right and they'll make us wait. ^.^' Maybe a six month gap instead if we're lucky.

I think it will involve tapping along to music as there isn't much else you can do on a smartphone rhythm game... Hopefully they can find a way to make it feel fresh and exciting though.

I think having the Love Live Sunshine game being very similar to SIF will be hard because they would have a hard time making the one differ from the other. Like the cards for example, they pretty much covered all ranges for the costumes used in the cards (From cheerleaders to candy land to mid-air balloon-only police chases). If the game is pretty much the same, i feel like they're just going to use these costume concepts and basically recycle it >.<

Yeah, it's hard... Even LLSIF is starting to reuse themes as the new SR cards were jobs again...

They re-used some other concepts too like the Kimono in January set and Chocolate/Sweets theme for Valentines. ( This time around they're giving the chocolate to each other instead though! ). I wouldn't mind a 2nd version of the Fairy Tale/ Amusement Park set though! Maybe the idolized version can be illumination parade costumes this time? ^.^
