Ten years ago, a secret location in the Ardennes forest in France (DeForest Institution for Supernatural Creatures) for the "processing" of those with odd abilities, such as psychics, werewolves, and mages, was closed down after a riot overran the guards, and it has since been locked up...

Until now.

Last month, someone found it, decript and abandoned, and broke the spell sealing the doors and windows.

This person, in the repairs, found that the compoound, though designed initially to be an internment camp, also has all the workings of an academy, and thus, invited those with odd abilities to come join him to further their gifts.

Name: Kane
Age: 41
Gender: Male
Appearance: Black fur, red right eye, blind left eye. At first glance, seems to be a normal anthro wolf for his age- Greying a bit, stiff posture, not very nice teeth. Usually prefers a long black coat, which he uses due to the cold, snowy conditions  in the Ardennes winters.
Race: Anthro wolf, with a grain of werewolf, but isn't a true werewolf (he can't turn others or transform himself).
Abilities: Fast, physically strong, and has the ability to manipulate energy to change matter around him (alkahestry/alchemy). His working right eye also has 20-200 vision.
Weaknesses: Blind in his left eye, so if you approach him from directly to his left or behind, he won't see you. Depending on the circumstances, he might hear or smell you. Also, being middle-aged, if you rapidly get within a foot of him and land a disabling blow, he can't stop it.
Personality: He is usually quite serious and direct, but at times, he can be cantankerous and sarcastic.

(Name: Lou Lawson
Age: Twenty-one
Gender: M
Appearance: Intense blue eyes and blonde-brown hair that almost touches his shoulders, although he generally keeps it tied back. His fashion sense is somewhat lacking and his favorite outfit seems to be a pair of old jeans and an oversized hoodie. Looks fairly normal, which causes many people to wonder if he is where he should be. About 5'10" and of an average stature.
Race: Human
Abilities: Telepathy, precognition, telekinesis, and astral projection.
Weaknesses: Most of his powers seem to come and go to their liking. Of average strength, experiences terrible headaches, and sometimes precognition or astral projection comes over him suddenly.
Personality: Rather grumpy, sarcastic, and reserved. He's stopped reaching out to people and they've learned not to bother with him. Can turn-out when the situation requires him to and has a secret nice side, but tries to avoid being involved to begin with. His own powers sometimes terrify him and although he tries to hide how much he knows about people, it seeps through eventually.
Background: Was never introduced to his father who had no intent on sticking around, but his mother was a once powerful psychic. He can't remember much but the institution from his childhood and doesn't like thinking about those times, anyways. A few years after leaving the facility, his mother's powers landed her in a coma, and she hasn't come to since. //More as the roleplay furthers.
Other: Good at anything to do with chance or prediction and quiet beyond his years in terms of thinking. He can frequently be seen reading, meditating, or dozing off.

Let me know if this looks okay and then give me a gist of what you want to be going on/the setting (which might cause me to reconsider his age and a few other things), and I'll make a post hehe.)

Kane: (hears footsteps outside and sees someone out the window. He vaults over the railing of the landing, landing heavily on the atrium floor. He unlocks the bolt holding the door shut and opens it a crack, looking out with his good eye)

Lou had his invitation in his back pocket and an unreadable expression spread across his features, only hoping he was at the right place. The trip had been very long and even now, having arrived, he questioned the entire ordeal. Even though many years had passed from leaving that facility, he still had a hard time trusting anyone that sought those with powers, and to return to the same place, even more-so. He rubbed his eyes and inhaled sharply. There wouldn't be any turning back, he'd wasted so much getting here. Despite turning the concept over in his head again and again, he couldn't quite decide what had convinced him that this was going to be a good idea, but there had to something, a reason that made him want to go somewhere to develop his powers. Perhaps because his inner child was screaming at him to, that if he did, maybe he could find a way to help his mother, but it could have just been selfish reasons, too. He glanced through the window, but couldn't see much. It was more rundown than he could remember and even though he tried to ward them away, memories came flooding back. Thankfully, they were of mostly good times, but he would have preferred to avoid the feeling altogether. It was reminiscent of the rare occasion where insight of the future bombarded him. He approached the door slowly and took down his hood, hoping to appear as harmless as possible. Just as he reached out to knock, the door squeaked opened, and a face looked through the crack. He almost jumped backwards at first, but remembered the even stranger things he'd seen before and shifted uncomfortably, giving no expression otherwise. Really, he was just as odd. After a moment of fumbling, he found the invitation, unwrinkled the paper, and held it out to him.

Kane: Works for me. Come in. (opens the door) I recognize you- I saw you in some of the files that they didn't destroy.

Lou stepped inside and swallowed, "Oh, those. How much exactly was left in them?" His eyes scanned the room and he looked for other faces, but found none.

Kane: I destroyed them. After all, you're here voluntarily, not because they told you that you have to come here.

Appearance: Blond coloured hair which goes down to the middle of her back and has hints of rose colour in it, wears normal clothes for a teenager including clothes like T-Shirts and leggings
Race: Human
Abilities: Can see the timeline both past, present and future (a seeress) plus has some control over white magic
Weaknesses: Every vision of a changed timeline counts to her inevitable death, the more she has the quicker she will end up dying. She will naturally die at a very young age and has no control over it
Personality: Known to be an isolater for thought and feelings as well the normal choice to shun others away to keep herself by herself.
Background: Comes from Eastern European decent where she comes from a line of seeress women who died at a young age, her mother died from a vision days after Lucy's birth.
Other: Don't be too nosy eh...

Lucy was wandering through the forest only on the off chance that she could find some extra ingredients for a broth her father was making as honestly there are some tastes best drowning and his was most certainly one of them, there were mushrooms a plenty but what she really was eyeing were some berries, fresh ones bursting with freshness, on bushes scattered through the endless swarms of briar that seemed to stab you like they were forming an inescapable vendetta on you, there was a bush by the garden of the secret location which shone forth with a barrage of blackberries, picking them and placing them into a basket she had a vision of what appeared to be a much happier collective of people now she had changed the set course of time, "That's nice..." her eyes briefly glowed but then dissipated as she collected the final handful of the berries, placing them neatly into the basket, she stood up to then set off again back to her father.

Kane: I also removed every barred door, took the bars off the windows, and turned the locks around, so it's less like a prison.

(Eeeks new people. Hey there.)
"That's true. I've always hated being bound by them. And so I've noticed," he stretched his arms over his head, finally looking back to him, "So, are you the one from the invitation?"

When Lucy went to leave she noticed the fact that there was a wolf in the doorway of the house. A wolf... Her eyes were locked on trying to make some form of sense out of it but failing to.

Kane: Yes, actually.

Well as long as this wolf creature didn't notice her then it would be all right, though how it was on two feet and could talk was beyond her and honestly was something that she didn't want to understand. Maybe her mind was playing tricks on her or something and she'd fin herself back to some normal reality where she was just heading back in a normal fashion as to be fair that would have been the best thing for her, no more visions of insanity as if that happened then who knew what could end up being unleashed on her, "There's nothing here..." was all she whispered to herself brushing the hair out of her face.

Kane: (an ear turns to the door as he notices someone) You go ahead. I'll be right there.

Lucy then slowly began to walk backwards occasionally looking back for direction but ensuring she could keep eye contact with the wolf as honestly she didn't want to be devoured by it.

Kane: (nods to Lucy) Relax, I don't bite.

"I've figured just as much," he watched as Kane slightly turned toward the door and then nodded, "Yeah, sure thing." When he started walking, he did so quite leisurely, but only because he was quite curious at what had captured his attention. Perhaps it was another person just like him. He jammed his hands in his pockets, only wondering how more strange things were going to become.

Kane: (heads to the door to welcome Lucy)

Lucy's eyes had widened into a state of utter fear with the natural instincts quickly kicking in which was to run in the opposite directions as fact as she could, so she did, with her basket to her chest she span around on the spot attempting to run but getting caught up in roots and briar that blocked the way, any cuts would heal gradually over the next minute or so because she used dome white magic to stop too much excess bleeding.

Kane: ...Was it something I said? (shrugs)

"Wolf... wolf...wolf..." was the only thing that was getting thrusted into her brain as she tried to continue but ended up tripping on a root and twisting her ankle, she limped onwards trying to conserve her strength.

Kane: (shouts) Hey! What's wrong?

Lucy turned her head around for a brief moment then though to herself, 'You're a monster...' she then continued on hobbling forwards.

Kane: What, you afraid of old men? I don't bite.

Lucy stopped for a moment thinking about what to do, 'Never talk to strangers...' Again she ventured forwards.
