If you could have a sequel to any game, what would it be? It can be a game that already has several installments, in which case, what would this installment in the franchise be like?
As for me, I'd really love more Professor Layton games. They said the final installment in the prequel trilogy would be the last... but I wand more PL games! XD So perhaps a trilogy following his high school and college years? I always love hearing more about the titular character's backstory, even though they've peppered in a good amount to almost every game in the franchise!
Another contender for me would be a sequel to Kirby's Epic Yarn (though a spiritual successor may be the upcoming Yoshi's Wooly World). The gameplay was unique and captivating, the graphics were adorable and creative, and it was a fairly easy game that I could play to unwind. I love the concept and would like to see another yarn game with Kirby in it.
How about you all?

Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody
So underrated despite being probably the best open world game I ever played. It had a great story, great controls, great missions, great combat, great everything pretty much. More would be much appreciated. (Now I really want to play Sleeping Dogs again...)

Another Kyle Hyde game. We has Hotel Dusk Room 215 and the sequel The Last Window: The Secrets of Cape West which were both brilliant. But I think I heard the company that makes them went bust or something so I think this will remain just a dream of mine
"Sleeping Dogs 2.

Interesting... I've had this game on my "yet to play" list for a while. Perhaps I should finally get round to it

Too many to name :)
Since Kirby Air Ride 2 has been said, I'll just leave my other 2 choices.
Sonic Championship 2 and Final Fantasy Tactics A3. The former could be improved graphics, controls, and character spread/storyline and it already sounds awesome. (As long as they keep the original cast as well) The latter, in my mind, would use the best features of both its prequels.

I also want a legit sequel to Harvest Moon Magical Melody; one that keeps the art style and format, but adds things like more characters, allowing your child to age, etc.
Like how Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life was to Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life. Not exactly a sequel... but sorta?

Dimentio95 and I were recently discussing how we'd like a sequel to Super Paper Mario. SPM has an absolutely incredible story, and a sequel would make for a nice comeback for the series after Sticker Star.

Tough choice. In the end, I'm going to have to choose one of two PS2 favourites of mine.
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect The TimeSplitters series as a whole was absolutely amazing. Fantastic gameplay, and in the case of the third in the series, Future Perfect, a great story to go with it. The challenge modes were fun, and the Mapmaker feature was absolutely incredible. I still play it to this day, and figure out new things I can do with it. The multiplayer characters were amazing, and would work so well with online multiplayer. On a newer console, they could expand the game so much more. Imagine the craziest characters in HD, such as Mr. Socky or The Shoal. And then think how great it would be to play as them online with a decent server. I just want it so badly.
Or alternatively
War Of The Monsters A really fun fighter with fully destructible scenery, plus the ability to use the rubble to beat your opponents further. Like with TimeSplitters, a newer console would do wonders for this game. Better graphics, a wider variety of maps and characters, and expanding the movepools of each character. And besides, who doesn't want to play as a 100ft tal praying mantis?

"Final Fantasy VII. I know that Advent Children is the sequel, but I want a game."
I don't. Between the original game, Crisis Core, Before Crisis, Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children, and add in Last Order and On The Way To A Smile... the whole series is just kinda a mess. Plus I'm just tired of it. Let the subseries die already.
