I loved every Animal Crossing game in the series, but the one that I think I was most disappointed with was City Folk. It was great to finally have AC on a platform system again, but it was weird to me. The grass wear made everything seem extremely drab and dirty (I'm the type of person who loves a lot of green!) and also the city was cool for the first few weeks, and then it got kinda boring and useless. The last thing that I was disappointed with was the lack of good dialogue from the villagers.
Overall it was still an awesome game and I loved my time playing it, just in comparison to the other games in the series it is not very good.

I had high hopes for City Folk when I finally got it. I played it after WW and although the frame rate was terrible, I found it way more enjoyable than City Folk. The lack of good dialogue didn't make me feel as close to my neighbors. The grass thing really did me in. I patterned my town in feeble attempts to mark a path but my town was looking worse and worse as time went by.

I have to say City Folk. For some reason it didn't hold my interest as much as the previous two installments did nor would it hold my interest like New Leaf has. Something was off about the game. It was great for awhile; being able to use Wii Speak was a neat novelty for a minute. But overall I didn't find I enjoyed my neighbors nor my town that much. And I didn't find that the City area offered much of anything useful.

Apocalypse - X-Men: The Animated Series
Wow, tough one. I really enjoyed every game because they each created awesome memories for me, however I think I'm going to have to go with the majority here and also say CF. Although I had some amazing late night Wi-Fi sessions with my friends, it didn't really bring much to the series. The main let down for me by far was the grass wear. I found it to be terribly stressful and difficult to regrow back.
City Folk for sure. Or Lets go to the City as it was called over here. Another reason not to like it
I disliked the grass wear, the absence of pictures, the animals themselves just seemed too robotic and boring. The city was dull too. I also had problems with wifi and by the time I sorted it out pretty much everyone had grown tired of the game so I had nobody to play with that much.
I like New Leaf a lot more but I still think WW will always be my favourite, perhaps because it was the first I played.
Ever tried ever failed. No matter, try again fail again fail better.

Initially, none of the games disappointed me. Looking back now, I have to say that Wild World is ultimately the most disappointing game in the series for me. While I enjoyed it at the time, I feel that Wild World is quite dull and lifeless compared to the other games, especially when it comes to the holidays and events. It especially did not have much of a lasting appeal to me, as it is hands down the AC game I've put least the time into. I owe it to WiFi for keeping me as involved with the game as I had been. Funnily enough, it was Wild World that got me to join ACC. So while Wild World is the most disappointing AC game for me, it still holds many memories and has a little place in my heart.
Crossing animals since 2003.
I would have to say City Folk even though I have really enjoyed all of them and spent countless hours on every one. That grass wear just did me in and I really like orchards. For some reason I could never get my orchards like I wanted them in City Folk.
