The task today is much better, shame it's not a trinket task, but still... level 39 is a godsend in these sort of tasks...

I hear ya on the mobile walker, SMan.  I once tried it, quite a while ago when it first came out, and my Pokemon wouldn't even go up a single level.  I just presumed it thought the distance between my house and the office just wasn't great enough to count for spit.  So I don't bother with that.

A Pokemon to level 39?  OK.  I should be able to do that with both eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back.    Just don't ask for a picture of it.

I find the Mobile Walker good when you're going quite a far distance, but generally it only goes up a level or less if you stay in the same place.

Now the task is back to Level 70, and I think there's only 1 Pokémon that fits the description that I know of. This is the most active I've been on this website, clicking to raise the Pokémon in the Poke walker...

I just finished today's task, too.  It took a bit longer than it should have as, for whatever reason, FF likes to go "Not Responding" more often than not now-a-days.  Ticks me off immensely.    Between that and updating a story from year's ago I've been sidetracked most of the day.  But I finished now and am waiting on 7 more people to feed my Wild Celebi.  Who knows?  Perhaps I can get to the next task of my exploration before the day finishes!

You might be lucky with that task, and I may have fed your Celebi one, but since I was going quite quickly, I can't guarantee it

Ah praise the Lord, a trinket task today

Yeah.  I'm a Fire Fox kind of gal.    I'd love to say that it is just with ACC or GPX that FF keeps "Not Responding", but even this morning, when I opened up my work's homepage, it did it.  Oye!  I do have Chrome downloaded on my work computer but... I don't like it near as much as FF.

Thanks for feeding the Celebi, SMan.  If memory serves I'm on the task where I have to walk like 3k or something.  Sadly I had a rough weekend and didn't get on the 'net at all - save for last night's FB post just before bed.

So I have a lot of makeup work to do and missed 2 of the Scavenger Hunt tasks.    Here's to not missing any more.

Nice Shiny, GPX+'s welcome back reward or something

I still use Safari for GPX. It's the browser I find easiest to click on, although anything beats IE..., and Chrome didn't work on my PC. It's a bit strange, but never mind. The non-technical people like me will just have to cope

I'm as non-techy as you, SMan, so I can commisserate with ya.  

It was funny, out on GPX this early morning.  I went out to the Shelter and said:

Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  Snover, Foongus, Deino.  

I just kept repeating it and was really worried that I wouldn't find today's choice of 2 Pokemon.  Finally did, though.  And now I get to concentrate on that endless Deino shiny hunt for the Poke Hunt challenge, too.

Oh, and I'm also working on the Bidofo exploration.  So!  Lot's of Pokemon fun for me today.    Here's hoping there is plenty of fun to go around to everyone.

And yes, thanks.  That's how I was seeing that shiny Pidove, too.  It'll probably get put away today though to free up a slot and not decrease my chances of the shinies I am hunting for.

I haven't been on an Exploration for ages, I should really do one again. I'm just too lazy though.

Deino - January 2014 SWSH - 729 eggs to date
Beldum - May 2014 SWSH -    242 eggs to date

I enjoy doing the explorations as they tend to give me another focus and purpose on GPX.  I'm not the battling type so I don't "go there" unless I have to.

Yeah.  Only 2 Pokemon for today's Scavenger Hunt:  Snover and Foongus.  If you can find the eggs I'd do them though as it is a lower level on a multiplier day.  So I saved my upgrading for the Poke Hunt as my current party Deino is at IVs 141.    She's almost ready to be put in the competition, too.  Just another couple levels and some dress up and she'll be all set.

If you ever get into the explorations, SMan, let me know.  I have all the requirements for the Novelties and most of the steps for the Items explorations, too.  While you have to wait until you get to those steps (no more grabbing Pokemon ahead of time), it does help to know what is coming up.

Well, I've had a very productive day through GPX and finished the Bidofo and Sweet Heart explorations.  I'm now continuing to search for that ever high IV Deino but I did submit the one from this morning.  With any luck it'll pull first place, but I'm hoping for no less than 2nd.  

Tomorrow I'll start the honey pot exploration, continue with the Deino search for the Poke Hunt (and shiny hunt as well) and maybe, just maybe, I'll use my vouchers for the 3 6th gen starters.  I'm getting ever so curious about their egg descriptions and what they look like.  Not sure how much longer I can bear to wait.

Yeah, I've gotten pretty much nowhere in my SH. Lately what I've been thinking about most is nicknaming my Pokemon and giving them cool backstories. Yeah, I'm that kind of user.

This Scavenger Hunt task is the worst so far - Serious Nature required

SMan, you remember how to GUARANTEE that Nature, right?  BEFORE you hatch it, spend some Pass Orbs to buy that Influence Pass Power and choose the SERIOUS nature, ok?  A long while back, before I realized that, I was hatching 5 Pokemon in vain.  Complained about it here on ACC in this type of thread, and Dalek told me that tid bit.  The very next Pokemon I had lined up, I brought that power, hatched the egg, and I was as good as done.

Thank you both for the kudos on that shiny win.  Yeah, I'm actively pursuing that Deino now and have my new Daycare couple.  Will try to revert back to just my Deino and the Lab.  Got very lucky that the Beldum shiny came from my Beldum and Ditto.  Now I have to press my luck with Deino.  Gah!  Next month is coming too quickly!  Another shiny hunt for sure!  And blast it all!  We're going to be in Disney for the tail end of it so I don't know how well I'll fare.  *eek*

I give back stories to my Poke Hunt winners.    I'll have to see if I can open that box for the public viewing.  That way, if you want to read some of them (as time permits) you can.

SMan, in order to complete a certain achievement, I am currently hunting a Sh. Gulpin. Well, you know how well that's going.

Yeah, when I get in the right mood, I can spend almost an hour writing those stories. I get kinda obsessive sometimes.
Currently I've only given stories to Sh. Beldum, Blastoise Clone, and Rapidash, but I'll probably be doing more when I get my next writing spark.

And BTW, the Clones are pretty fun to write stories about.

I really liked the Rapidash story, gr8gabs!  I have my most current Poke Hunt Pokemon victor in my party (for now).  Here.  Let me share that link with you.

Thanks, gr8gabs.    Writing is my first love and I've been working on an anime inspired storyline for posting on ACC, but it's delayed while the Staff discuss "how much is too much".    So it's kind of weird as I'm writing it the way I want, highlighting in red what needs to be changed, and coming up with alternates as I go "just in case".  I'm looking forward to posting a new story out here 'soon'.

For now, I guess I wasted enough time and have to get back to GPX.  Those 2k clicks won't happen all by themselves.  Will they?

I am proud to say that I have just unlocked eight achievements in a row in under 15 minutes. I had been saving up several Pokemon for the Party themed achievements, and since my party was empty I decided to take advantage of it.

I feel the same way, Mamanator. I have this one fanfiction that I've been working on for about... two years. I know it's a long time, but I've been distracted with writing stories I'm hoping to publish one day. What it all boils down to is that I love writing.

And about the clicks, I sometimes wish they'd do themselves. It seems like every time I get one of those, it takes me about two weeks to actually sit down and devote my mind to clicking.

Shortly I'll be settling in as I'm on the Angered Gods of Weather exploration on GPX.  And the task I'm up to... 5,000 clicks.  *faints*  After that it looks like it is time to choose which 2 special explorations I'll embark on.  Not sure which one at the moment so I'll see which Pokemon we receive for the three and then see who I need and work from there.

gr8gabs, I can totally relate to the 2 year thing.  I've been working, on-again-off-again, with the story of Swiss since high school.  I began re-writing it in my adult years.  Finding straight through time is the problem and, until we have a 3rd laptop (or as my eldest says, even a tablet) I fear I'll always be struggling for computer time to create.    Then there is that little sidetrack issue of "I had a dream" and another story idea is right there crying out to be writ.  Ah well.  Such is our lot in life, right?

Okay, I know this isn't too big a deal since I wasn't actually going for it, but this still makes me ecstatic anyway. I'm out of shelter grabs, so I'm trying to find something useful in the lab, and I stumbled upon an egg I didn't think I needed, but...

Sorry for the double post, but I've just stumbled upon something, and I wanted to share this marvelous moment with you.
When I saw that a SWSH was coming up, I started freaking out since I was stuck on a SH for Gulpin and I didn't want to cancel it for a SWSH. Well...

I swear, a beam of light was shining down on me.

When I saw it, I literally leapt from my chair, swung open my door, and yelled "I did it!" to my sister (who, coincidentally, was putting on a Pokemon episode.)

Mamanator, three days ago I got struck with inspiration for this dystopian story that I had only just thought of. That night I was literally up until 2:40 A.M. writing. And then I was writing pretty much all day the next day! I had forgotten how good it feels to write.

Anyway, right now I'm working on the "Transforming the Heart" Exploration. I noticed a few days ago that they've put up the first Legendary Exploration that I can participate in, so I've been going crazy trying to finish my current Exploration. But first I must finish my 1.16k steps. x_x

Dang!  Those shinies just love you, gr8gabs!    Congratulations!  

I had no idea what to throw in as my votes for the SWSH coming up so I borrowed inspiration from my daughter who dared to catch a shiny Pansear in her Pokemon X game.    Lucky lil lass that she is.  So I voted for the 3 "brothers"... Sear, Pour and Sage.

What was your Achievement reward for getting that shiny Gulpin, gr8gabs?  

Thanks, Mamanator! I can't really remember the prize, but I think it was one of the point prizes. I wasn't really paying attention, I was transfixed by the fact that I had just found a Shiny.

I wasn't really sure what to vote for either, since I couldn't choose Houndour, which is who I really wanted (curse you, GPX.) I eventually settled on Yamask, Gible and Poocheyana. ...Which I'm still unsatisfied with. I just can't make up my mind.
