Offensive is the way to go for Aegislash, it doesn't have a very good defensive movepool. It could try Toxic stalling but it doesn't have a reliable recovery move outside of Chesto-Rest. It also has a quite low HP stat (60) and it could be walled easily by a Poison or Steel type. however it may be woth trying to make a defensive set.

Aegislash is made for well-balanced pokemon depending on which stat build you're doing. If Offensive, it will drop the defenses down on that stance. If making it for wall, then probably you want to have king's shield and some other defensive attacks.

^^^^I've thought about playing through LeafGreen again, but I'm afraid to restart it because it's so old. It's not my original save and all of my Pokémon have been transferred off onto D/P, but I'm still weird about it. I really want to play through it again though.
I'm trying to complete my pokédex for the first time. I've played for years and never attempted it. I've spent hours trying to fill in the Kalos pokédex and I'm just now getting close to finishing the central part. Am I doing it a more difficult way, or does it really take a long time to complete it? I thought it just took a really long time and a lot of work.

I recommend you use the GTS to get Pokémon as well.
But yeah, it is a lot of work. I completed the game in five days (I was playing a lot, so this isn't a complaint at all), and the Pokédex kept me playing for five more months.
Right now, I'm working on my Living Pokédex. It's pretty much when you have every single Pokémon in your possession. It's going to be difficult, but it'll be fun. :[/b]D
I finally managed completed the national dex a few weeks ago on X. Though there's something I'm wondering about, you don't have to dex certain legendaries to count the national dex as complete, right? Event legendaries as an example.

As long as you talk to Professor Sycamore and he says it's complete, it counts as complete. The only legendaries you don't need indexed for it to count as complete are Event Legendaries (you still need Phione for it to count as complete).
Those are event legendaries, so you don't need them for your Pokédex to count as complete in the games' eyes. As for whether or not a Pokédex is actually complete without event legendaries, that's pretty much a matter of opinion.
Same here. I got the event legendaries in my Pokédex because it was more of a personal goal.
Also, Nintendo isn't doing many events in the United States, so you'll probably have to wait awhile. Hopefully, once OR and AS are released, there'll be more event legendary distributions.
My youngest is already on her 2nd completion of the game and I haven't even finished the first run through. I enjoy the leveling up way too much (except for when it's against Foongusesesesses).

I never got a Meloetta or Genesect, but I have all the others.
I had been collecting a living Dex since I'm probably going to appreciate it for when the next generation comes out, since my Dex would fill up pretty quickly, but then realized I needed to get Pokebank for it. I can activate Pokebank whenever I want now(up to 4 years, if I want), but haven't felt inspired enough to do that.
^Spore bothering you? Because I, as an Amoonguss user, think that it is a move that should be on any Foongus/Amoonguss.

I can't think off hand of why Foongus is giving me such a hard time, GabeEB, save to say the Pokemon I'm training and leveling up are pretty poor attackers against them. I think I'm going to jump ahead back to the Frost Cavern and just deal with the long walks in between finding an opponent.

Oh wait, I just realized, I didn't mean I have all the legendaries, I've just Dex'd almost all the legendaries. But I do have most of them. Also, don't think I've Dex'd a Shaymin.
