So the Wii U has been out for over a year in the US now, and the Wii Mini just hit stateside recently as well. I'm not too sure about the Wii Mini, but it seems like the Wii U might be picking up the pace soon with the upcoming holiday season and stronger software library. Super Mario 3D World was just recently released and I've heard many good things about the game. Hoping to pick up that title over the holidays.
What Wii U titles are you looking to pick up this holiday season? If you don't have a Wii U already, are you planning on getting one soon?
Animal Crossing: New Horizons | Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
3D World looks neat, but I haven't entertained the idea of purchasing it, nor have I asked for it. What I REALLY want on Wii U has been pushed back; same as Jeff above me, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, and Mario Kart 8.
Like, a lot of stuff, but also nothing because indecisive
I really want Mario 3D World. Probably sometime this week or next! I'm enjoying the console, anyone without one should invest, it's worth it I played Mario Kart 8 at a WiiU event shortly after E3 and it was so crisp, shiny and glossy all at once, it's easily the most pretty looking Mario Kart game. The Gamepad seemed useless though which is slightly disappointing but not enough that I'm not gonna get it the day of it's release lol Said that on the other thread but it sparked a decent convo

I'm SO excited for Mario 3D World. I was initially disappointed with how the game looked; it looked too familiar to 3D Land, but every gameplay video I've seen since the E3 trailer has blown me away. I haven't been this excited for any game since Galaxy 2. Soundtrack is incredible as well.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Persona 4 Golden
Can't agree more^. I like the soundtrack, but I was a big fan of the whole "baa baa" thing they had going with NSMB, but like expected it's more like 3D Land, which was more of a jazzy type thing but also really good.
Fallout 3, MK8, NL, EarthBound, Tomodachi Life, Watch Dogs, Persona 4, FE:Awakening, Uncharted 2.
I really hope I can get one soon, and despite people saying it has hardly any good games, the ones out now look very good! They have a nice selection of the new Marios, Zelda WW HD, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 and Lego City Undercover. And then you have the other great first party games (DKC:TF, Smash Bros, MK8) which are coming out next year and the growing third party support.
If I can get one for christmas, I'd be even more thankful if I can get my hands on 3D World which just looks stunning. I think we all underestimated it when announced, but classic Nintendo made it work.
Great... Can't view images on Google on my Wii because everytime I click on an image on Google images, it just sends me to the website link. It won't let me view the actual image. It's doing the same thing to my Wii U as well...
New Horizons and a whole bunch of other games I can’t fit onto the list!
I really should be doing my homework right now, but I got distracted by (among other things), a couple of reviews for Super Mario 3D World (and the accompanying comments). Almost everyone seems to love it, and now I'm really excited for it even though I don't even have a Wii U.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Kirby's Dream Course
Wow, the bundle on Nintendo's UK online store. Wii U premium console, NSMBU, Super Luigi U, Super Mario 3D World, two special edition coloured wiimotes, a Mario hat and all for the price of £299 which is a bargain compared to the £240-something bundle on Amazon which doesn't have 3D World and the rest of the accessories. And because the price is over £200, they offer free next-day delivery.
I just hope my dad sees it and decides to get me it.
In Japan it seems the WiiU sold 21,000 units this week, up from last and Super Mario 3D World sold 99,500 copies, 2nd place on their charts. (according to WiiU Daily) Not bad at all. WiiU 3rd place to 3DX XL & Vita.
