* How do you feel about making the final 24?
Making the top twenty-four is one of the proudest things I’ve ever done on ACC. For the longest time, I’ve been writing fanfics for Animal Crossing and every time, it’s fallen through. Ever in Liv’s contest, my fanfic disappeared. But now, I’ve actually gotten somewhere in a competition and that makes me extremely happy.
* What position are you aiming for?
I really want to make at the very least tenth. I’d prefer to make it somewhere in the top three, but I’d be extremely proud to make tenth.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
I feel very good about the group I’m in. I think the people in my group are very talented writers (and so is Dan_the_Man, of course!). Dan_the_Man also offers some interesting entertainment and I think I could get some serious support from the people who are in my group.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
At the moment, I do believe I’ll be able to keep up with the deadlines. However, where I am, summer is ending in two weeks. Going back into school is going to make it a lot harder for me to write since I’m going to have to compete with homework and test prep.
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
Right now, I’m extremely proud with how far I’ve gotten. I’m so happy that I have the readers that I do – silent or no. I’m excited to be competing against such talented people and I’m ready to face any challenge Compy’s gonna throw my way (now watch it be something really difficult )!

“Well, it’s just that, the pearl glows white whenever a member of the Triangle is found.” Dymond explained. “And we’ve already found the maned wolf – that’s Kayl – and the red wolf – that’s me. So all that’s left is the arctic wolf, and that has to be you.”
Rodolfo started to laugh. “How crazy do you think I am? I’m going to kill Josh, but tell him that he owes you all the money he offered you. I almost believed you, too. It was a very good performance.”
Dymond crossed her arms. “Alright then; I guess I have to show you.” She closed her hand around the pearl and shut her eyes. She took two deep breaths, and the next thing Rodolfo knew, she was shrinking down until she was about feral-wolf size. Her arms and legs moved into a dogs’ position and she grew red fur as her nose elongated. When she opened her eyes again, they were amber instead of the violet they were before.
Compterfan: Well, there goes another Strawberry! Meaning, groups, Vanilla, Mint and Strawberry have now, had half of their members go through!! The tension is really building in here! C'mon Chocolaters, where you hiding?
[ Liv909, Dan_The_Man and BuzzyRecky all sit smugly grinning to themselves at their groups' achievements, whilst Mamanator places her head in her hands for a few moments before continuing to look at the remaining contestants on stage.]
Compterfan: I see a few of our judges are looking rather satisfied over there. We'll see how long that lasts, shall we?[/spoiler] It's time to find out who will be joining the already, successful contestants, back stage. Let's see if we can add another Chocolater to the mix! The eleventh contestant to go through is....

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
I'm really happy I was able into the Final 24, especially since I was up against some amazing writers. I'm also pretty nervous for the same reasons though, I'll have to try my best to get far in this competition. ^_^
* What position are you aiming for?
At the moment I'm aiming for 22nd place at least, being eliminated right away won't be very much fun but I doubt I'll be able to stay in for too long considering all the other amazing writers I'm up against in the competition. If I get into the teens (13-19) then I'd be very surprised/shocked/happy/pleased.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
Great! All the people are super nice and friendly, It's nice being able to chat to them and exchange some tips too. I'll need all the help I can get after all~ Mamanator is really supportive too and has given me a lot to think about, hopefully I can improve my writing with everything I'm learning! Also chocolate goes with everything, chocolate is fabulous.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
Hopefully, though in mid-late August I might be a bit more slow since school assignments tend to be handed out around then. School comes first but I'll still try to keep updating throughout the competition. Otherwise I should be fine, so far it's not too much work but who knows what'll happen with the challenges.
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
I wish the other constants the best of luck in their writing and hope they'll try their best too~! x3
-- A shrill siren suddenly blared, everyone covered their ears as the sound filled the air. Marshal finally seemed to snap, grabbing Lucky and me and sprinting through the front door. The sky was now a burning orange colour, the sun setting across the sea's horizon in the distance. As I turned to go back inside the house I could see what Marshal was so afraid of. Three dark figures, all of them dogs and carrying blinding flashlights.
One with a bell tied in her hair.
Marshal was now panicking, hastily shoving Lucky and me down the slope to the beach. The siren was becoming louder now, screaming in our ears as we ran towards the dock in a mist of confusion and fear. Marshal dived into the boat where Kapp'n sat, the two briefly argued before the Kappa was thrown overboard. Marshal was now shouting at us to get in the boat, Lucky sprinted just ahead of me, frantically eyeing the small vessel a few metres away. I quickly glanced over my shoulder to see Isabelle and the two dogs now sprinting down the beach slope, a furious scowl on her face. The other two appeared to be Copper and Booker, they were both pointing something at us, something that made my heart stop. I turned back to warn Lucky but he was already leaping into the boat.
Bang.
A lone gunshot rang in the air, briefly taking over the wail of the sirens. Copper lowered his arm as he saw the bullet strike true and continued to chase after us. Time seemed to slow down as I stared at Lucky, horrified as his body went limp mid-jump. He fell onto the boat's floor with a sickening thud, a few bandages falling away, landing on the gentle ocean waves with a dark crimson cloud around them. My heart pounded in my ears as I ran with all my strength to the boat. My legs, cold and numb buckled underneath me as I fell onto a wooden seat beside Marshal. The boat's engine roared into life and we quickly sped away, clumsily skipping across the ocean waves at a terrifying speed. All the while I sat on my seat, clutching my pounding chest tightly and trying to make sense of what just happened.
When I finally caught my breath I turned to take one last look at the town I had grown to love so dearly. Isabelle stood on the edge of the dock screaming furiously for us to come back, Marshal responded by speeding up the boat, focusing on the empty waters ahead of us with a fierce gaze. He didn't seem like talking at the moment so I rested my gaze on the boat floor. My stomach churned as I finally noticed Lucky lying at my feet, curled up in a tight ball and breathing shallowly. I leaned over him and inspected the small hole in his side, blood slowly seeping into the bandages covering his body. I sat there staring at my friend who was shivering in pain and whimpering tearfully until the sun finally set, I couldn't believe anything that had happened. This must be a dream, none of this can be real.
This really isn't my day.
Computerfan: Again, I had to cut your extract a bit. Some people are going too little, others too much! Well done on your enthusiasm, though... Anyway! That’s the second chocolate, long overdue. Mama must be feeling relieved... Congrats on getting through, go and relax! While you can. Ha. Hahaha. Ha. Half way point now... Ten more to be announced before it’s real suspenseful. * How do you feel about making the final 24?
I feel really awesome about making it into the final 24, but there are some really great writers in the competition this year (as there are every year) so I'm going to need to give it my all if I want to get a decent placing in the competition. Overall, I'm really excited about what else is in store!
* What position are you aiming for?
I'm aiming for any position in the top ten, hopefully higher than I placed in Dougieowner's competition, so anything above 5th place is my goal but I'm not too fussed either way.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
The Vanillas are super awesome. I know a few people in my group already so it's nice to see some familiar faces as well as make some new friends.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
I feel like this is something I'm going to struggle with, especially since school is so demanding at the moment, but I'll do my best to update my story and try not to rush getting chapters out.
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
I just want to wish luck to all the other contestants, and remind them to have fun!
-- "The gentle rhythm of the train had lulled Whitney to sleep. She rested comfortably with her legs stretched out on the seat in front of her, which she had covered with the jacket that she had put on before leaving the house. Ronford had snored, but not loud enough to disturb her slumber. She rested peacefully for a while, until she decided to prop herself against the ledge as the almost inaudible chatting had grown louder and louder.
“Where are we?” Ronford had woken up before her. For some reason, it was already dark outside even though it was only 2pm. Whitney could feel the train coming to a stop as she stuffed her jacket into her rucksack. She tried to listen for the conductor’s voice announcing where they had stopped through the speakers.
“This is Gare de Cannes. Please check your overhead luggage rack for any personal belongings and be sure to take all of your luggage with you.” They were supposed to have stopped in Paris, and she was positive that the train didn’t make any stops beforehand since it was just carrying the students to their school. She shrugged in response to Ronford’s question and took her suitcase from the overhead compartment. The students waited for the doors to open and rushed out. Whitney looked around. As soon as everyone had gotten off, the train doors closed and it sped off. Then it hit her; there was only one place that they could be.
They had been abandoned in a ghost station of the Paris Métro."
Computerfan: Congratulations! The wait’s over for you... I know it’s been a fairly long one, but it could be a lot worse. Only H_K and Cyan left standing for Vanilla... Are they worried? I think the answer’s obvious, looking at them. Anyway... 13. Unlucky for most, but certainly lucky for...

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
I feel good about it, but also I didn't really have any doubt in my mind that I would make it this far. I'm actually really excited for the real competition to get underway. I think there are a lot of talented newcomers providing some tough competition for writers like me who've been around for awhile.
* What position are you aiming for?
First place! Why? Well, I think in any competition you should always aim for first place. I'm honestly quite confident I can make it pretty far, if not win. Even if there's a surprise and I get eliminated early on I won't be upset, because I had fun. But I don't think that'll happen, I know I'm better as a writer than many of the people in the competition.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
Surprised, but satisfied. Mamanator is awesome and I really wish she was my mom. > u < I'm pretty much the only non-rookie in my group, but I think that's fine. Even if they might not be well-known I think they are all talented writers. I didn't know any of them beforehand, so it's a good opportunity to meet new writers. I had expected that Buzzy would pick me, but I'm happy he didn't. He's too gloomy for my fab self~ @ u @
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
Yes, I'm sure I'll be able to. I've been working hard on getting out of the habit of procrastinating in real life and online and I think the results are showing. I promise I won't disappear mid-competition. > A <
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
You all don't stand a chance against me! Kekekekeke~ I'm going to win this thing!! Chu~ = 3 =
Computerfan: It’s odd when people do interviews but not extracts... the extracts require no effort. Either way, I’d rather an interview! Mama’s looking more confident, that’s half the chocolates! They’ve caught up on both the strawberries and mints. Let’s see how they fare from now on. Go join the others backstage. 9 left to go... anyone’s feet aching yet? Mine are. Geez. Anyway, next through knowing they have to do all this again, is...

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
Feels awesome , just like the first time I got in. Based on the fact that I got in during the 2011 competition, I wasn't exactly surprised, but it was like waiting at a door and the door's completely blocked off except for this little window that all the judges are peering out of and smiling. Judge smiles are scary. Occasionally they'd open the door slightly and then defy the laws by smashing their hand through the door. With that hand, they'd grab someone and pull them through the small hole crash thing, once again defying laws. In other words, when I was picked, I had this gut reaction of omg yay wait what the heck, but then relaxed because there's glorious cake awaiting me. I ate that cake. Also, whoever came up with the idea to have a final 24 is a great man. 24 is an amazing number.
* What position are you aiming for?
If all goes to worst, 24th. I like that number. I'll probably aim to do as good as I did before, 3rd, but if not that, the top 10 is in my sight.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
I love it! I know everyone in there, and since I know them, I love them. Love you guys. Be great. Do me proud. Or well. Don't jump in a well.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
Yup! Unless I get lazy. Really, the only way I won't be making the deadlines is if I procrastinate and give up (like I did in 2011 gosh darnit), or school turns out to be worse than I had imagined and pummels me to the ground. I think I'll be fine.
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
Compy, I request that you act out of character when you announce my interview. Double-space it or something. No- triple. ((CF: I did it for a sentence and got bored.))
-- "Hiya, Redd. It's been a while, hasn't it?"
I was immediately met with a screeching fox, barking expletives and threats before I had the common sense to pull away. He mentioned something about me being some sort of traitor, but I didn't quite understand, so I asked him to explain. More obscenities, something about how ugly my hair looked, and that I needed some morals. Funniest thing to come out of his mouth, the dumb fox. I didn't laugh, but it put a smile to my face. My hair was drop-dead gorgeous.
"Now, now, Redd. Calm down," which is what I said, but only seconds after the words left my mouth, he went batty, bawling like a child into the speaker. Quite the opposite of calm. "all salesmen have to suffer a loss in their lifetime, don't they?"
For all his outbursts, he sobered up quickly enough to become angry again, but it's a vicious cycle of him shooting bullets and them bouncing right off me. I'd blink dramatically, simultaneously turning my head to meet his eyes when mine opened, and watch the rare dance of an idiot in distress. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I'll mature and learn to let sleeping dogs lay. However, until then I'll believe that the sleeping dog was a mere lost kitten and prod it further. He'd appreciate that. He always appreciated me before, so I'll treat it as though we never changed.
I hung up on him after 'dealing' with his tantrum for a minute or two, leaving only a snarky remark for him to fume about. Stepping away from the phone, I held my breath. One. Two. Three. I let go. Then, a smile. Perfect.
Computerfan: Was there ever even a doubt? Of course you’re through, why is anyone bothering to cheer? Like, honestly, if you were in bottom I’d have... dressed up as Rosie and done ballet. I don’t know why that was the first thing that came to my mind. But you get the point. The vanillas are the lucky desserts today, with only CyanCity left to be announced. It’s looking equal elsewhere, so let’s get another group down a member. Joining H_K in week 2, is...

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
I feel accomplished to have made it into the final 24. I'm shy and not vary confident in my abilities, so to know that seasoned writers think my story is good enough to make the final 24 is encouraging and makes me want to strive to get better.
* What position are you aiming for?
I am aiming to be in the top 20 at least and I'm hoping to not be one the first to be eliminated. Being in the top twenty would be an accomplishment for me because there are quite a few good writers in this competition and with this being my first story, I don't know how well my stories going to do.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
I like the group I'm in. I know a few of the other people and I'm going to enjoy getting to know the others. I always enjoy getting to know other people and making new friends. I hope that we can continue to be friends after the competition.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
I feel that I can keep up with entry deadlines even though I tend to procrastinate and I'm lazy. I feel that if I put my mind to it and push myself to get it done, I can get it done on time plus some of the deadline stuff might involve writing about my characters and i could spend hours doing that without much need for motivation.
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
No, there is nothing else I would like to add. I feel I have said everything I would like to say.
-- “Tsk, who needs a counselor, when I can do this,” Blue stated, going up to Jeff, who was a whole head taller then he was, and kicking him as hard as he could in the knee. This caused Jeff to stumble back, letting go of Vio, who immediately joined Red and I, looking relieved to be out of Jeff’s clutches.
After that, Jeff was done playing around and he was no longer interested in making Vio’s life miserable. He was now intent on making the bold, confident Blue pay for what he did. Vio, Red and I watched as Jeff and his friends surrounded Blue and attempted to beat him up. Impressively, Blue was able to hold his own against the three bigger, stronger, older boys for about ten minutes, before they overpowered him, pinning him to the ground, so that he could do nothing more then struggle against the two boys holding his wrists and ankles and insult them, while Jeff proceeded to teach him a lesson.
At that point, I knew we had to do something to help him, so I sent Red to go get help, then each grabbing a large deku stick, Vio and I went to go save Blue from Jeff and his cronies. The three seemed to have forgotten about us because non of them noticed Red leave and Vio and I were able to surprise attack Jeff and Henry.
Jeff stopped what he was doing, Henry let go of Blues wrists and they both got up and confronted the boy who had hit them. With his wrists free, Blue sat up and punched Jake in the face, before he could react to the situation that had unfolded, forcing him to let go of Blue’s ankles and allowing him to get back on his feet.
We were now each in a one on one fight, but the odds still weren’t in our favor. Jeff and Henry had managed to take Vio and I’s sticks. Henry broke mine in half, before chucking it at me and advancing on me. Meanwhile Jeff was using Vio’s like a bat, trying to take swings at Vio’s head, while Vio ducked and backed away, probably having second thoughts about confronting Jeff. Blue seemed to be the only one that was doing alright, giving as good as he got.
By the time Red came back with help, Henry was holding me off the ground by the front of my shirt and was getting ready to sock me in the face. Jake had managed to pin Blue back down and was having a heck of a time trying to keep him pinned and Jeff had abandoned the stick and finally gotten his hands on Vio, twisting his arm behind his back as far as it would go, ignoring Vio’s pleas to stop and let go.

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
I feel like curling up in a hole in dying. Honestly, I'm surprised I was picked for the replacement of PierceandYoshi, as I know there were other great writers to pick from.
* What position are you aiming for?
10th or 9th would be awesome, as I feel if I did make it through, that's about as close I'd get to first.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
They seem like pretty cool dudes. I've read some of their stories, and I think they're amazing. All I have to say is that everyone in the group is awesome, I feel pretty confident that we're a good group.
* Do you feel will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
Well, school is coming up, and as this is my first year in middle school, there's probably gonna be tons of homework. But I could do it, whether its on the weekends or after homework.
* Is there anything you'd like to add?
Yes, there is: Good luck to everyone. Doubt that's the answer anyone was looking for, just wanting to put it out there, even though... Yeah, enough speaking from me, because if I start talking, I don't stop for a while... <;/
-- Heather closed her eyes, knowing this would be her last moment, until hearing a thud behind her. She opened them fearfully as a navy colored blur tumbled past her. Lobo had pinned Fordon down on the floor.
"You're dead, wolf..." the boy mumbled through gritted teeth. He struggled to escape from Lobo's grasp, but seemingly gave up a moment later.
"Filbert, call Whitney," he ordered, loosening his grip a bit. "Tell her to bring some of the- ACK!" Lobo was then bowled over by Fordon, who reached for his pocket. "I told you!" he sneered, a glint of light flashing in Heather's eyes. "You don't... mess.. with ME." he said, breathing in shallow, short breaths. Turning to Filbert, Heather mouthed for him to hand her the gun that lay on the floor beside him. He grabbed it regretfully and slid it across the floor.
"As I said before," Fordon said proudly, gaining his breath. "You're dead." Grinning, he raised the knife in the air, preparing to strike.
A shot rang through the air. Fordon's expression quickly dimmed as he slumped to the floor. Lobo looked over to Heather and Filbert to see a gun tightly held in her hand.
"I didn't want to..." she sobbed as she towered over his limp body. "I wanted revenge, but not like this..."
Filbert helped Lobo up and they both walked up behind her. Patting her on the back, Lobo whispered something to her.
"You saved my life. Thank you."

How do you feel about making the final 24?
Pretty great. It was intimidating since I was a newbie being this contest, so I thought I had no chance of getting in. Now that I'm in I'm ready to write and hopefully continue on to later stages.
What position are you aiming for?
I don't know. To be honest I'm not really aiming for a position in this contest. I am more focused on making people happy with my story and writing to better my writing. I didn't really enter this contest because I want to get a high position, I entered to get feedback and to have an outlet for my creative makings. If I had to give an answer that actually answers the question, I would hope for not dead last.
How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
Chocolate is delicious. Mama is very graceful and wonderful to us, and while we are a sort of discombobulated bunch, we do well together. We support each other and make sure we do well in the competition.
Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
In real life I keep up with all of my deadlines. However, this is a children's website. I don't feel super obligated to keep up with everything with my busy schedule. I can't guarantee anything special from me, so I apologize in advance for any inconvenience that comes from my laziness. <;/
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Nope, I'm good.
-- “You aren’t much of a peach yourself, Cousteau,” a breath escapes from her lips.
“Ha. And you are right.” Cousteau flashes her an intimidating, bright smile. “But at least I have people and animals alike to care for and perform duties for. You ‘ave no one.”
“At least I don’t get other peoples’ hands dirty. I clean up my own messes, and no one’s sentiment gets in my way.”
“You have all ‘our loneliness to deal with.”
“I mediate in my loneliness,” Margaret growls, clenching her fists as much as she can. “I know wisdom and identities and truths the social butterfly only dreams of. I can survive without having the burden of having someone on my mind, wondering how they’re doing and if I need to come to their rescue. At the end of the day it’s just me I have to watch after. Life’s much easier when I only have one mouth to feed.”
Cousteau listens surprisingly closely, an eyebrow raised against his brown spot. After her rant is finished he approaches her closely, daring to stare her in the eyes right in her face. “I’m not afraid of you. You are so out of your mind that you can’t think sane.” Leaning back he gives her some space, but keeps eye contact. “You know, I can give you some companionship.”
“I know.” The words she speaks are bland, almost with the form of a robot. “The only reason why you called me here. Under force.”
“The only way I can get you anywhere. You don’t like to go to places, even on invitation, if you don’t like whoever is involved. Besides, the action gets your blood pumping and gives you a reason to stay.”
Margaret cannot help herself. A natural, entertained smile forms on her face. “You know me too well.”

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
I dont know, it's pretty cool I guess. I was pretty nervous with that 3/4, but I don't think I'll last much longer
* What position are you aiming for?
In the beginning, I was aiming for top 8 or something like that, but at this point I'm just happy to be here
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
I'm just surprised it was Mamanator that chose me, since she gave me a no, but other than that I am apathetic about this.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
lol no
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
Sorry about being inactive for the past week?
-- “Look, we don’t have much time, so I’ll give you an abridged version. We’re in the Pokemon world, a region called Kanto. Victor and I just woke up here, with no memory of what happened or how we got here. We’re about to get Pokemon. Just go along with it, everyone here thinks that we’re some kids who grew up in this town.” Vince stepped back and smiled. Secretly, he was euphoric that Jessica was here with him, but the boy felt terrible thinking that way. Jessica looked so lost and scared, but Vince would help her through this, he had to, he was in love with her.
There’s a commonly passed around saying that says to be successful, a girl must have two of a group of three traits, looks, brains, and a good personality. Just looking at Jessica, Vincent knew she had all three of those traits. Her dark hair fell perfectly over her pale skin, her sparkling eyes bluer than the summer sky, and, luckily for Vincent, her small stature kept her shorter than he was. Being 5”4, it was unusual for Vince to meet a girl that was shorter than he was. Of course, it was also unusual for girls to like him, or in this case love him, back, which Jessica did not follow through on. Vince thought grimly of Jessica’s boyfriend, and how she loved him, and not Vince. Thank God he’s not here. It would suck to see them together everyday. The boy thought to himself, and then instantly felt guilty I should just want her to be happy.
Computerfan: Not everyone’s expected choice, but you’re in week 2 all the same. Congrats! That means only kdpuppy remains for the chocolates, and they’ve pulled level with Strawberry and Vanilla. The mints, however, have turned their good start around to still having three left. Can they pull it back? Let’s see. Now’s the time to start feeling nervous, as spots are dangerously low now. Three...

[Dan and Mayreau both cheer loudly as the stage flashes red. An image of all strawberries and Dan appears on the main screen, with ‘SAFE’. Dan and Mayreau hug each other tightly as Mama and kdpuppy are shown clapping. Mayreau leaves backstage, as Dan smugly heads to sit down at the judges desk.]

* How do you feel about making the final 24?
It's certainly exciting! I've been around ACC since 2008, so Compy's competition is something I've always been exposed to and occasionally followed, but never actually participated in. It's almost surreal to actually be a part of it, rather than a casual viewer. The analogy may be a bit juvenile, but it's rather like American Idol. You spend years watching it on TV and maybe every now and then allowed yourself to visualize yourself being on it, and then when you audition and actually make it, it's exhilarating. It doesn't really feel like it's really happening. What makes this such a thrill for me is not exactly making in the first place – I'm going to be honest and say that I was at least mildly confident that I would – it's the fact that after so many years of watching and wondering, I'm finally doing.
* What position are you aiming for?
I'm not going to pretend like my tendency to disappear for indefinite periods of time won't present a setback, but I'm hoping that by developing a regular update schedule, I'd like to try and aim for... let's say the top 15.
* How do you feel about being in the group you are in?
I very much like my group, actually. There are some strong writers in the Strawberry Group, and I look forward to getting to know them better as people as well as watch their skills grow and develop. It helps that Dan_the_man is pretty much the personification of awesomeness, too. ^^ But in all serious, he's definitely been a very friendly group leader who's been making an effort to really get everyone engaged with each other. I hope I can make him proud. Oh, and I love strawberries. That's a bonus.
* Do you feel you will be able to keep up with entry deadlines?
Deadlines? Yes. Let me explain you a thing. Without a schedule, I tend to be very irregular with my writing time. I strongly believe that having deadlines will be immensely helpful for me. I will be able to better prioritize my time and have that extra motivation to not only update with some level of frequency, but also not procrastinate so that I can put out my very best effort.
* Is there anything else you would like to add?
As I mentioned previously, I have been on ACC since 2008. During those five years, I've always kept an eye on the fanfic board, and I've seen so, so much happen. Computerfan's first fanfic competition, and each consecutive competition after that. I still remember the original threads for some of the most famous ACC fanfictions. I have seen writers start at the bottom and climb to the top. It still amazes me how far these people have come.
Watching someone, really seeing them grow from little sprouts and reach the level of recognition they have now, is one of the inspiring things a human being can witness. I just want people to know that everyone starts on small. Everyone must make a name for themselves, but doing so is completely possible. I really hope some of the writers in this competition can utilize this experience – I hope I can utilize this experience – as a way to reach other true potential. I want people to share the experience I had in seeing people go from a nobody to a somebody.
Seeing people climb the ladder of success has deeply motivated me not just on ACC, but also in real life. i I guess what I'm saying is never be discouraged by your reputation or lack of one, because everyone starts out small. And I really hope people don't race through this competition. I hope everyone takes the time now and then to stop and witness the development we all go through as both writers and people. It's a beautiful, beautiful thing.
Computerfan: No extract from you, but oh well... Congratulations! And a big congrats to Dan_the_man and the strawberries. Getting your whole group through week 1 is always a big confidence boost, so be proud of yourselves. The strawberries are safe! But let’s have a look at things... 1 Chocolate, 1 Vanilla, 3 Mints... The mints find themselves in a perilous situation. If the next contestant isn’t a mint, then they definitely have at least one contestant in bottom. You should be worried, Liv. Let’s see what happens... Two spots remain before the overnight wait... Two...
