Dream Jumping ~ Prologue Good Morning MayorMaya!Ready to start? Maya smiled and nodded politely before stepping outside her house. Maya wandered through the town when she remembered that she had finished building her fountain and wanted to speak with Isabelle.
Soon after, she reached the town hall and was shocked to see that Isabelle was asleep!"Erm....Isabelle?" Maya awkwardly shook Isabelle's soft,fluffy,yellow fur. Isabelle's eyes opened widely and was shocked "Ah! Miss Maya I was just watching something last night and it was really boring here and nothing was happening and I'm sorry!" Isabelle shouted,way to quickly for Maya to keep up.
"Oh yeah I just remembered something! A strange lady wants to build this sleeping place here.....I have put it in you Public Works request sheet so if you want to build it please just talk to me!" Isabelle was obviously still half asleep Maya thought and decided to build it anyway
Maya laughed and walked out of the town hall Oh Isabelle.....

Really? It's amazing for your first go! The only tip I'd give you is to try and make your chapters around 300-500 words even if you have to take a bit longer to write them. I entered my first fanfic into computer fans competition too, back in like 2011 or something but I was an awful writer I'm sure you'd do much better than I did haha.
Yeah I'm planning to make my actual chapter much longer than I did with the prologue. I only mde the prologue short since i didn't want anything to give to much away.
But yeah I do think I will join

Chapter One ~ Miss Isabelle Isabelle's Point of View The day before Isabelle stood behind the desk and sighed shoving a pile of paper in a cabinet. Quickly checking over a few notes on how she could give advice to Maya “ Blathers…you really don’t hide your identity very well” she muttered to herself before shoving them back into the cabinet. Isabelle’s eyes flickered over to Mayor Maya’s chair and she crept quietly over to it and sat down. “ Hello Maya! Can you help me make a Public Work?” She giggled. Being very playful, Isabelle decided to check the town e-mails on the computer, which usually only Maya could access. A bright light flashed on the screen and made a little tune.

Isabelle scanned through them “Public Work Done, New Ordinance in effect…” Isabelle stopped when she saw a mysterious e-mail from lunadream@animalleaf.com. Usually, Isabelle sent emails or they were from shop owners wanting a store in Honeyleaf but they had the title of the shop and in capital letters “REQUEST” whether as this one was labelled “ ~Stepping into Dreamland~”
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Isabelle quickly closed the emails and stood at the desk. Maya walked towards Isabelle “Hello Isabelle!” Maya smiled “Hello! Maya! What would you like to do today?” Isabelle asked “Can I see what the townspeople think of my town?” Isabelle pulled out the note from Blather’s “ Even from an academic standpoint this town is very good thought it feels a bit barren eh wot?” Maya frowned a little “oh but um if you make more public works the rating will sure improve!” Isabelle happily smiled at Maya. Soon after Maya trudged outside and Isabelle returned to the e-mail and hesitantly clicked on it. When the e-mail was opened it read Dear whom it may concern, Dreaming is very magical, is it not? I wish to speak to Isabelle at her house. 6pm. Sharp. I would like to offer you something you cannot pass up Keep Dreaming, Luna “Luna…”Isabelle thought to herself “Have I heard that name before?” Isabelle shrugged and decided she would meet “Luna” at 6pm. Checking her watch, Isabelle realized that 6pm was nearing so she should start to head home.
Upon arrival at her house Isabelle decided to tidy up the house a bit when a mysterious figure came in. “Oh Hello! You must be Luna?” Isabelle smiled. The figure nodded, this person was wearing a large cloak over her head and could only see a long nose sticking out “I would like to build a dream walkway, where one can fulfil one life’s dreams in another world” Isabelle though for a moment “well…I don’t see how Honeyleaf really needs one, so I’m going to have to deny the offer for it to be in our Public Work books” Isabelle said quietly. Luna stepped forward and lifted her hood “You do realise who I am right” Isabelle thought for a moment and shook her head, Luna chuckled “If you want your town to be safe, I suggest you build one” Luna paused for a moment before going into a drawer in Isabelle’s desk and put a picture on the desk “You wouldn’t want those valued to you, to be hurt?”
Luna’s eyes were gleaming with mischief and Isabelle felt drawn to them even if she looked away she always felt her eyes return to Luna’s. After a few flickers to Luna’s eyes, she began to feel drowsy and ended up giving in and fell asleep and fell to the floor. Luna loomed over Isabelle and picked her up and laid her down on her bed “Sweet Dreams” she said and knocked the picture down and left

Chapter 2 - Island Maya’s POV Maya went to go see Lloid to see how much the villagers had paid “The dream suite has been paid…0 bells!” Maya’s eyes widened “What!” Maya sighed “how am I supposed to pay all this off by myself! Maya checked her pockets and she only had 17,000 bells. Maya trudged out of the Train Station when suddenly she realized she could go visit the island! Maya ran down to the beach and talked to Kapp’n who happily brought her to the island. Maya had been to the island before, but she has never used the tools since she preferred to relax. Maya tried to catch a bug but it flew away before she could even swing her net “well…this is going to be a very long day!”
Rosie’s POV Rosie was skipping around happily and had decided to visit Maya and ask her whether or not they would like to go have a coffee together “Maya! Maya! Nya! Where is she!” Rosie stood awkwardly at the town tree clueless on what to do next. “Maybe she is doing some stuff at the town hall!” Smiled and skipped off in the direction of the Town Hall
Maya’s POV After an hour Maya had somehow managed to catch a lot of bugs and fish. Maya wiped the sweat from her forehead and her legs gave way beneath her. Maya lay down on the soft grass and looked up at the clouds. “I’m going to build the Dream Suite and I am going to be more relaxed then ever!” Maya closed her eyes and imagined what life would have been if she had never even left home, or even were a normal villager” Maya shook her head of these thoughts and decided to head back to Honeyleaf. When Maya returned to Honeyleaf she went straight to Re-tail. “ Good Afternoon Reese!” Maya greeted the fluffy pink alpaca “Hello Mayor Maya! How may I help you today?” Reese asked, “ I just need to sell some stuff” Maya shrugged handing over everything she had found at the island and things wanted to sell“ Oh well your help is greatly appreciated! I’ll start crunching the numbers right away! Wow! Miss Maya! You get to have 207,000 bells! You have given me very valuable items!” Reese said in shock, Maya smiled in gratitude and left to go pay for the Dream Suite.
Rosie’s POV Rosie head towards the town hall and pushed on the wooden door. Inside she saw the yellow tail of Isabelle but something seemed very wrong. Isabelle turned to reveal her eyes crimson red then flicked to her normal black eyes but in a very dull state. Rosie peeked out and suddenly Isabelle was behind her. Rosie looked at Isabelle
“I-Isabelle…!” Sorry that this chapter was kinda short! Nothing exactly was supposed to really happen in this chapter as it is leading up to the next chapter so I didn't want a too long one to bore you all! No more updates for today! I think I should take a break Anyway thank you very much for reading!

I would just like to Note, that in this next chapter I am switching my style of writing to one I feel I can do much better in! Also I realised I have been doing the POV's wrong oh well in the next chapter it will be proper POV and most likely will be set out like this for the story. Chapter 3 - Dream Sweet The dream suite is finally built! I smiled happily to myself looking over the building proudly “And I did it all myself!” I realized that Isabelle would be waiting for me at the town hall to start the opening ceremony so I headed towards the town hall.
At the town hall I talked to Isabelle and asked her if we were ready to start the ceremony “Huh? Oh yeah Miss Maya! We are going to gather in front of Train Station for the ceremony!” At that point I thought something was up with Isabelle, even if she was out of it most of the time she wasn’t this out of it, if only I had listened to my instincts I suppose this situation could be avoided, but we will get to that later.
At the ceremony it was just the usual everyone was there clapping and having a small celebration though I noticed Rosie hadn’t came. I went and asked Zell if he had seen her “ Sorry Maya, haven’t seen her, maybe she’s sleeping in” Zell shrugged. I checked my watch “11am” She couldn’t possibly be sleeping since she was awake as soon as the sun rose “ I’ll go see if she’s home, she might be sick!” I started to walk towards Rosie’s house and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen.
At Rosie’s house I had gone in and... no Rosie, I tugged on my brown bun in frustration. If she were out…there would be a note on the door. I decided I would go see the Dream Suite and search for Rosie later. She probably went to go visit her brother Bob anyway.
At the Dream Suite I met a lady named Luna “ Hello Maya welcome to the Dream Suite, where all your dreams can come true” Intrigued I listened in “ So go sit on the sofa and other will dream of your dreamy town, Honeyleaf and if you would like to visit Dreamland go lie on the bed” after I had let Luna connect my memories I lay on the bed. “ I’m going to give you a town to dream about”
As I lay on the bed I felt sleep wash over me and I began to fall into sleep I could hear Luna chanting something that reminded me somehow of something peaceful though in the back of my brain kept telling me it felt like a spell. When I opened my eyes I saw a beautiful town and on a sig it said the name of it was “Breeze” the town tree had fully grown and the town was blanketed in flowers. I picked up and decided to take them to re-tail “May as well make some bells while I can “ I thought to my self and headed to Re-tail’s. When I reached the door I noticed a torn sign that read “Re-tail Closed Forever” This scared me a bit but being scared washed over with confusion “ Where is Reese and Cyrus? What had happened to them?” Suddenly the town felt less beautiful and more creepy and deserted. “ Luna! I want to wake up!” Then just before I awoke I saw the flash of blue. “Rosie! Is that you?!”

A couple of months have passed since I opened the dream suite I haven’t gone near it since I saw Rosie ... at least I hope it was. More Villagers have been disappearing. … Apart from Rosie, Zell, Margie and Bob have disappeared. I really miss them but they can’t be in dreamland!
I sigh a kick a rock nearby and I wonder if I should go 1 last time. I close my eyes and say to myself “I have to do this, for my town”.
I hesitantly open the door to the dream suite where I got greeted by Luna “ Oh hi there Maya ... haven’t seen you in a while! Care to dream about something?” I nodded without muttering a word I lay down on the bed and closed my eyes.
When I opened my eyes I saw a town not as great as the one I saw last time but it was ok. I wandered around looking for any clues someone might have been here. Suddenly I felt a drop of water land on me I angrily folded my arms “ Any footprints are gone now!”
I decided to leave nothing would be of interest here I trudged over to Luna, who had the slightest smile on her face “ Oh your waking up” she asked again I didn’t say anything to her and nodded and awoke. Before I could leave Luna whispered in my ear, “ Remember, three strikes…and your out”
Ok! chapter 4 done!I would also like to say that I got into the competition!!!! Yay! So if you like my story please vote for me once the comp starts!
