Once I finish writing three chapters for my fanfiction, I'm going to enter this competition. Hopefully, I've improved since 2012 and haven't gotten worse.

Next up to get their verdict is the first of what is perhaps my favourite part of any competition... Seeing new people enter. Especially those fairly new to ACC.  Does kdpuppy, despite only joining in February, have what it takes to get far? She's entering Grandeur!

"I like writing stories, fan fictions, songs, etc. in my free time that I'm not doing something music related, drawing, or playing MineCraft. I also like to learn about languages, and am currently self-teaching myself Japanese, and to help me get to know Japan's geography a bit, I decided Grandeur would be set in a (sort of)post-apocalyptic Japan."

Liv909: For kdpuppy, despite my instinct, I'm going to say yes. I think she has the potential. She needs to improve a lot but I think she can do it.

"I like writing a lot...I started writing on here with Grandeur, so this is the first story I've posted on a website. I wrote a lot of things for school assignments that I've lost, added to, edited, etc. over the years, including a really bad supernatural fiction story."

BuZZyReCKy: I'm not sure what I want to give kdpuppy yet. If it was a previous competition, it'd be a no, but the fanfic board's quality isn't what it used to be so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to lower my standards a bit. [A few days later] I'm going to say no.

"I don't know how far I'll get in this competition, if that's what you mean. I'd like to try to get at least past the auditions. I'm joining this contest for fun and to get some constructive criticism to apply to all my writing endeavors. I believe that no matter how far I get, I'll still have fun along the way! Figuring out what to write for this application was fun enough!"

Mamanator:  It's going to be a no for kdpuppy - Grandeur.  I read the first 2 chapters and skimmed the third but I did not enjoy what I was reading.  I was going to equate it to Cyan's story but for now I'll say this about those two.  Cyan's story followed a time line and series of events that we can actually see unfolding.  kdpuppy's story, however, seemed disjointed [to me]. For that reason I have to say no to kdpuppy's story, Grandeur.

Computerfan: So, as it stands... One yes and two no.  It's all down to Dan_the_man now. If he says yes, kdpuppy scrapes it through.  If he says no, it's the end of the road for kdpuppy!  Who will he side with? Liv, or Buzzy and Mama?

Dan_the_man: Tentative yes for kdpuppy. On thing bother me more than it should. What are the Madoshi? Giant bugs from space? 'Cause that was my first thought.

Liv909 - Hi Liv... So awkward. It's been almost a year I think. No matter how many times I try to stay away from ACC I always come back in the end (think this is my third or fourth attempt >n<). I have too many fanfic ideas and nowhere else to put them so yeah... I'm determined this time to stay active and win this.

Hehe, I haven't been working as hard on it since I started working on it as an anime concept. So it isn't very good. Oh, the Madoshi are like...mystery creatures...they're...like humans...it's more into detail in the next chapter...I think. I had this posted to like, chapter 6, but then I changed the names and stuff a lot, so I re-posted it. But, yeah. As the story goes on, more is revealed. Plus, more than 3 characters are introduced.

I have now submitted my entry. Wish me luck.

I'm hoping that my new story is as good as or better than An ACC Life.

You know what? Things are looking up.  We've had a surprisingly good start... Don't let me down, people. I need at least 24. 13 have entered and 4 people have said they will (one on facebook). That gives us 17... 7 more entries, assuming the 4 enter. Please make it happen!

I wonder why the fanfiction board has such a small amount of stories. You'd think that with AC:NL being released, there would be more activity.

With NL being released, most of said people are busy playing it rather than writing.

That can't be the only reason, though. I remember that last year, there were only thirteen entries, so there's probably another reason.
