During the Scavenger Hunt tours on the tropical island, there are numerous vacant houses with random furniture that you can pick up. You can't take any with you, but you can pick anything up and place it back down in the house. WIll this add it to my catalog so I can purchase it later?
I don't have any shop upgrades yet, so I can't really check for myself...

I. Wish. Then again, that would make the tour broken. Heck, you can already smuggle Bugs/Fish/Pitfalls/Fruit/Other Undersea life/etc. What you do is start up any tour with collectable Items (Lloid will most likely be there), And collect the stuff you want. But competition items won't be kept (Bugs in bug tours, fish in fishing tours/etc.)

I usually end up grabbing a few stacks of fruit any time I do one of the games. I haven't gotten all the difficulties but they are easy enough that I can get a few stacks, especially when playing with a friend. I've got a nice fruit stash set up for future planting once I get my plan for the trees figured out.
There's that hide and seek game where there are houses in it, but I don't remember if you can open the doors and take furniture or not.
BTW does anyone else find the interior design of the houses in the scavenger hunt game super terrifying? There was one that was designed like an office but with a huge papa bear in a corner. Scary. Is that some sort of reflection on society and people who need to go on vacation the most?
