Hey ACC’ers! Welcome to the Animal Crossing New Leaf Community Projects Guide! This guide explains what community projects are, how they are used, and lists the statistics of EVERY community project in the game! I can assure you that all of this information comes from the OFFICIAL game and not rumors or speculation, so you can feel confident that this guide is 100% REAL.
If you don't know a lot about the game or the subject then this is the place to be! The costs and conditions of every community project are listed here so if your wondering what to put in your town, or if you just want to see all of the community projects that you've never seen before in the game, then I have you covered!
NOTE: Some information is still missing. This will be updated over time. This guide is 100% made by me. Community Projects are a brand new feature introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. In previous games, you could only have one extra bridge, and either a windmill or a lighthouse. But now, not only can you put ALL of those in your town; now you can build lights, clocks, bells, benches, and buildings and shops! Community projects help customize your town and make it unique.
Another problem in the previous games was that certain things could only go in a certain spot generated randomly by the game. But in AC:NL, you can put community projects wherever you want! (With the exception of the shopping center buildings, windmill, and lighthouse)
You can start a community project by sitting at your mayor's desk. Shizue will then ask you what you want to build, and a list of all of the things you can currently build will appear. When you select the community project you want to build, you will then show Shizue where you want to build it. A construction site will be there the next day. Now enough donations must be made to cover the costs of the project. You, the Villagers, and other friends can help donate!
But there are some conditions to building community projects: • You will only start out with a handful of the 100+ projects; the rest must be unlocked. • Buildings cannot be removed. • You can have up to 30 community projects in your town at once. • If you want to remove a community project, it will cost 10% of the construction costs and all donations already made to the project will be lost. I will list all Community Projects in the next post.
