I really hope we get this too. But I have some bad news.. I was speaking to a 'GAME' employee over here in the U.K and he said he's almost 100% certain that, that bundle will not be released anywhere outside of Japan. He believes it is an exclusive to Japan only. He said he was very shocked to see the Pikatchu one make it's way over to the EU.

But I guess I'm still hoping.. *fingers crossed* aye?

Oh, noo... That's why I was hoping it might be released over here, because the Pikachu one was. But if you've heard that from someone who actually works in GAME then it's probably true. Hopefully he might get very shocked a second time?

Let's hope we are pleasantly surprised lol I think I'm going to wait to buy my 3DS XL till after Christmas that way.. If any new ones come out I can get my hands on one.. because the ones available at the moment aren't really that great and the game isn't even out for like another 6 months!

I bought my 3DS the week it came out thinking AC:3DS would be coming out within a few months. I've been waiting this...whole...time.

I also want to wait till I purchase one as I'm a little worried because I live in the U.K that we may have to wait a few months longer than NA to get the game. I hope that's not the case and it either get's released on the same day (as Nintendo have been doing that recently) or at most a few weeks!

Yeah, wait it out to see if they have the Animal Crossing 3DS XL bundle in NA/EU as well.

I do love it though, my ds lite was about to break when i traded it in, it would freeze and not always recognise there was a game in it! I have found lots of great old DS game to play whilst waiting for AC so im happy

I think I will buy a 3DSXL mainly for AC but I probably will get other games as well!

I regret buying my XL if they release the AC exclusive in the EU, I'll sell my red xl if they do..

I want AC:NL but I wouldn't want to buy a 3DS for only one game. However if they're would to be more games that interest me, then I would totally buy it. Also I'm afraid to get a 3DS because I think once I get one, they release a new model that is much better.

I would get a 3DS just for this game and anything good that comes out, but also another DS so I can give myself stuff on pokemon if I get another pkmn game... because I have no friends ;~;

I bought my 3DS after I saw the original E3 promo. But since I saw the new AC themed 3DS XL I will buy that one when it comes out. Not only for the game but because it has a larger screen.

totally getting a 3DS, but i dont see myself playing anything on it but AC..... probably won't actually buy the 3DS myself, since the holiday season is so soon and all...

The only reasons I got a 3DS were for AC, and Mario Kart 7 (which was a disappointment for me, so I hardly play it.)
Now I've decided I'm selling my 3DS and getting the Pikachu 3DSXL which I was surprised to find out is being released in the UK. Not really sure if my reason for this is having a bigger screen to play Animal Crossing on or just because I'm a sucker for everything Pokemon related, haha.

Perhaps, there's no garuntee however, i will only buy both if and ONLY if i have enough...

It's actually the main reason I bought my 3DS. Then while waiting for AC:NF I decided to buy other games.

Probably not.....but that's because I think it's a bad money decision to buy a console just for 1 game.

I already have a 3DS though, I got it for Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Pokemon, AC and a few others I'm not 100% sold on. Since then there's been other games that have appeared on my radar.

I probably didn't need to buy it when I did....but when Paper Mario comes out in December things will finally start paying off.

I know I really hope so But I've been in a few other gaming shops and they've all said the same thing. They said they would be VERY shocked if it did make it's way over here the only ones they can see making it are the ones that already have e.g. Pokemon and Mario as they are big sellers and Nintendo has had a past of releasing special consoles of both on a national scale. Unlike Animal Crossing

One person I spoke to though did say that as Animal Crossing has become quite popular over the years.. there may be a slight chance that a similar bundle will be released over here and in the U.S but perhaps not the same one! Which I was quite happy to hear if I'm honest because it was better than hearing 'No, it's a Japan exclusive'
