I have a 3ds! But I might be getting an xl just to play animal crossing on a bigger screen. I've been waiting for this game for forever! I want it to be PERFECT

That's my plan. I'm not sure if I'll even buy any other games aside from this one. XP i don't really care for the 3DS's current library of games.

I bought my 3DS XL to get in touch with the times since all I had was an old and bad nintendo Lite.

On Purchase i bought Nintendogs and Super MArio 3d land.

3D Games I Own: Nintendogs, Super Mario 3D Land, Majong, Cooking Mama

Regular Games I Own: AC:WW, Pokemon white 2, Pokemon Conquest

Ill be trading in a few to get AC, as it was one of the games im super exited for for 3D.

I'm going to be buying a 3dsxl just for this game!! But I'm not sure if I'll just buy a normal 3ds yet as buying the xl may be a bit of a waste! The only other DS console I own is the DS lite. So you can see how long it's been since I've actually played on one!

Plus the 3ds comes in more colours than the XL. (: I really like the purple! Does anyone know if the XL will come in more colours than the ones already though? Else then I may purchase the XL.

I just really can't wait for it's release now I'm so excited!

fordn1 - The 3DS came out in blue and black only (now there are heaps for more colours), so I'm pretty sure if you wait there will be heaps more colours in the XL too.

The reason I bought my 3ds was to play animal crossing, but it's not the only game I've played on it. I bought a few others and I've played the ones I got for free from the Ambasador Program

I wouldn't buy the XL... I need my DS to fit in my purse

I bought a Japanese 3DS and the US 3DS so yeah.

Yes as I bought the Wii just for City Folk but after the let down over the Animal tracks grass wear in the game I do not want to buy a 3DS until I know that the Animal tracks is not in the new game if it is I do not think I will get the New Animal Crossing Jump out or the 3ds.

So yes I would buy a 3DS just for the new animal crossing game provided that Ninetendo starts listening to its consumers .. If not sadly I will not buy the new game or the 3ds

I also bought a 3ds just for AC3ds.  I just checked the reciept for my pre-order.  I pre-ordered it on 9-4-11.  Not sure how long I've had the 3ds.  I got nintendogs and ocarina of time just to have games for it in the mean time.

I'm waiting for this bundle to come out in the U.S. before I buy the XL. I wish it came with a cartridge rather than preloaded, but I already have the cart on pre-order so no biggie. I just have to have that. It's so cute!

Had to give up my ds lite.
Figured it was better to get it now before the holidays.

I'm waiting to see if we get that special Ac3ds bundle cause if we do i'm going to buy it till then i'm sticking with my dsi xl.

I am really considering it!

Carol and Mary I really want that AC bundle to however I have some bad news I was speaking to a guy at the Game shop in England yesterday and he told me that, that paticular bundle will not be making its way to Europe or the U.S It's a region locked Japanese special bundle I hope he's wrong but he's probably right He told me a white one is coming instead bundled with Mario kart 7 preoloaded on it and there will also be a pikatchu one he said he was very shocked that the pikatchu one was even getting released outside of Japan. I'm just hoping that there's still a small chance we'll get it but I don't think so now   

He did tell me that AC:3ds will definitely be coming out in Q1 so that's some good news He and the other game employees think it will hit the shops by late Feb early march but April at the latest so I hope he's right on that one

No, probably not.  
However, when you add the new Smash Bros. into the mix, then yeah, I'd buy it for those two.

I wasn't going to buy it as not sure my eyes like the 3D effect and the 3Ds was so pricey when i came out.

However having seen the recent info released about the game I think I will have to buy it if I can afford it.  Thinking I'll get a 3DS XL as I normally play my DS lite at home rather than use it as a portable system and bigger screens sounds great.

I'll wait till AC:3DS is to be released here in the UK.  Hopefully the console might drop even more in price by then.

^ 3D makes my eyes go a little crazy also so I'll probably play mostly with the 3D off

I suffer with bad migraines and I've never owned a 3DS before but judging by the reivews I think I'll just keep 3D off.

I was like this too. When it first came out I tried the demo for less than two minutes [my friend was counting because he wanted a turn after], and I ended up feeling really ill for over an hour. Now I'm just like *leaves 3D off* and let my mum use the feature. :[/u]P

About two weeks ago, I lost WW. And then, my friend told me all about ac3ds and then I decided to buy a 3ds. In fact, I'm getting the limited edition pikachu xl for Christmas. At first it was really only because of AC but now I have discovered lots of 3ds games that I can't wait to play, so that's good
Actually, I've got the original DS so I have waited through 6 ds models, this upgrade is well overdue!

This game is the only reason I bought mine! But since I have it, I'm for suree getting more games!!!
