I'm not sure I can directly answer your question, but perhaps here are some thoughts about how I like to think about work:
-Always keep in mind that you are working to serve other people. People will depend on you, so do your best and find ways to meet their needs. -Continuously strive to see areas for improvement. Others will appreciate you going the extra mile, even if they don't explicitly "recognize" you for it. -Be honest and build trust.
