Hey guys. This story is just a basic, funny or witty story that you might enjoy if you have read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Even if you haven't read it, you might even like it. Anyways, enough of my blabbing. Hope you like it! Enjoy!
Part 1 of "Diaryjournal DIARY oF a WiMpY CrOSsEr"
Day 1,
Alright, so here's the deal. This is not a diary. It's...like..a.. journal? My mom thought that it would be good for me to have a "diary" to remember all of my memories while I'm in the new town I'm moving to on my own for the summer, SunnyVille..sounds stupid, right? I told my mom that I wanted a summer adventure, and that I wanted to move to a different town on my own for the summer. The deal was that she had to pick out the town. So she went online and found an opening for one kid to go to this town, SunnyVille, "a kid-friendly place where EVERYTHING is sunny!" Oh, there's the bus! I'll make sure to write all about it when I get to SunnyVille!
Sorry it's so short, I'm kind of busy. I hope you somewhat..liked it? Thanks.
Wow, I'm glad you guys liked it so much. Continuing.
Day 1 (continuing)
This town is freaky weird. There's animals, animals everywhere; TALKING animals. You wouldn't believe me, but it's true. So the bus driver was really creepy. He talked like a pirate, and I think he was a turtle..At first, he kind of...flirted with me, but then I told him that I was a BOY..After that, the rest of the ride was finally silent. Once we reached SunnyVille, the driver told me that he was glad to have another human join, and that most humans fled because they were so scared and surprised by the community of talking animals..Hmmm, I wonder why..
Anyways, I was finally introduced by some raccoon, Tom Nook. Yeah, he's kind of...pushy. Weird, too. Always finishes his sentences with, "Hmmm?" Well, he showed me the new house I would be moving to. After I got comfy, he then told me that I would have to do work for him, to help pay for the house I would be staying in for the summer.. Seriously, work?! For that guy?! I started earlier today by planting some flowers around my house.. I mean, around his shop. It got too late, so he told me to go home, and get some rest, and we'd start early in the morning. It's now 10:30, so I better get some rest. I mean, after all, I do have to get up at 6 tomorrow morning..

So today I started my job..First, Nook made me wear a horrible uniform! I threw it away, of course. He was pretty mad about it, but he eventually got over it. I planted some more flowers, along with trees. It took me about an hour. He told me to "take a break" by going around, meeting all the villagers that would be my neighbors. Yeah, what a break. I walked around. It took forever to find everyone. The first villager I ran into was a dog. Her name was Goldie. She was nice, maybe a little too nice for me. Then, I introduced myself to another villager, Bob. Bob's a purple-colored cat. He is hilarious. Somebody in this town that actually understands, and knows what humor actually is. I could see us as good friends. I didn't want to stop talking to him, but eventually I noticed the time so I told him that I had to meet the rest of the villagers, before Nook would get mad. He understood, and said that Nook was crazy like that.
After meeting the rest of the villagers, I hurried back to Nook's. Nook wanted me there by 10AM. He tapped his foot. "Hmmmmm, 10:02. A little bit later than we had planned, but if you pick up your pace on the rest of your duties, you should be in ship-shape." Ugh, was this guy serious?
"Your next job is to deliver some items for me. You met all of the villagers, hmmm? Take this to Peewee. Be back by 10:05." Was he serious? "But, that's only three minutes!" I argued with him. "Well, if you were here by 10 before, it wouldn't be a problem. Now, hurry along! The clock is ticking!" Ugh, this guy was crazy. I ran in the flowers. Whoops!
I looked around and found Peewee. I gave him his delivery. He told me that he didn't really want it anymore, so he gave it to me, and told me to keep it. Ugh, seriously? All that, for nothing. He randomly started telling me about how he was just lifting weights and told me that I should start working out with him. Haha, RIGHT. Like I'd work out with him. I ran to Nook's, with about 30 seconds to spare. He then told me that I had one more job to do for the day, and that tomorrow, my last job would be writing letters to villagers about Nookingtons. "Write a nice, eye-catching advertisement for Nookington's on the bulletin board. I want everybody in SunnyVille to know how great Nookington's is. Can you do that for me, Jeff? Hmmmm? Okay, great. Thanks much. Now, get going!"
I went to the bulletin board. I thought about what to write. Hmmmm...how about, "Nook eats babies." Yeah, that's great. Eye-catching. I wrote it, and ran home. I sat on my bed. I remembered that I had the shirt that Peewee had given me. I unwrapped the box. It was a shirt. A No. 2 shirt. Ha, of course. Number 2. Not 1, 2. Ah, well. My first thing I had ever received in SunnyVille. I put the shirt back. I laid back in bed, and covered myself with my blanket. I fell asleep.
Thanks for being patient, it really just takes me almost an hour at a time to write it out, and make it the best I can. I really have not the patience to do so. It is really appreciated.
I woke up at 3. I mean, after all, it had only been 10:30 in the morning when I had fallen asleep. After my little nap, I was feeling energetic. I grabbed my new shirt and put it on. I decided that I would venture out in the small town and see if I would discover anything.
I left my house, and walked around until I ran into Filbert, a small blue squirrel. He's pretty chill, and likes to talk about food. I didn't mind, since he was a pretty nice guy- well, squirrel. We talked for awhile, about our hobbies, and he even gave me his first fishing pole, since he was upgrading his to a silver one. I was pretty excited to try it out. He told me to go try it, and invited me to go to his house in a few hours. I told him that would be great, and scheduled for 5:30. I waved good-bye, and then grabbed the pole and took it out to the beach.
I tried it out, but it was kind of difficult using at first. I had never gone fishing, except with my dad, once or twice; but that's another story..
The pole's line got tangled up. I looked around for help, but that was when Goldie walked up to me. "Oh, silly, let me help you with that, woof!" She immediately took the pole from me and untangled it. "There you go, I'll show you, woof." I nodded, "Thanks." She cast the pole and flew it out. "Reel it in and out as much as you need to. When you feel a tug, pull it in. You'll get used to it, woof." I felt a little uncomfortable..I mean, it's not like I asked for her help. "Thanks for the advice, but I do know what I'm doing. "Okay, just trying to help, woof." She stood up. "Also, did you hear about that new dog that just moved in? He is cute as a button, woof!" She waved and walked away.
I shook my head, and cast my line. After a few seconds, I already felt a tug on my fishing line. My first fish! I reeled it in. I was so excited for my first fish, it turned out being a sea bass. But what I didn't know was there were many more, where that one came from. I saw another fish in the water, and quickly cast my line. I eventually caught the fish and realized that it was anothe r sea bass. I didn't think anything of it. I figured that I had enough of fishing, and realized the time.
I walked to Filberts, knocked on the door and walked in. Filbert's House It was nice; unique. "Hi, Jeffrey! Thanks for coming. Don't go nuts or anything." I noticed peaceful music playing on his stereo. "Hey Filbert. If you don't mind me asking, what is this music playing?" "Oh, that's Two Days Ago by K.K. Slider." "Who's K.K. Slider?" "You've never heard of thee K.K. Slider?!" "Well...no.." "K.K. is an ultra-famous guitar playing, singing dog. He has a lot of great hits. He's pretty well-known, here in SunnyVille. He's travelled all over the place. When he's not on tour, you can find him at the Brewster's Coffee place on Saturday nights at 8." "Wait, Brewster's?" "Yeah, it's in the museum." "Oh cool, I'll have to stop in there sometime."
After talking for awhile, I decided I'd better go. We said goodbye, and I was glad that I was able to come. I'm pretty sure Filbert was, too.
I stopped at Nookington's quick, before it closed. I bought a stationary set with some bells that Filbert had given me. I went home, lit my candle, and laid in bed. I started my letter.
asdfjkl;Dear Mom,
SunnyVille is great. There's a lot to do. I've had to do a little work to pay off the loan for the house I'm staying in. It wsn't too bad, but the owner of the store was a lithe...pushy. Anyways, I don't have much room on this letter but I just wanted to let you know that I'm okay and I'm starting to have fun here. I'll try to write as much as possible. I'll write you again soon!
Sincerely, Jeffrey
I was pretty tired, so I decided that I would send the letter in tomorrow. I put the letter on the box that the candle was sitting on. I blew the candle out, and laid back, relaxed. My eyes were heavy and I could no longer keep them open. I fell asleep within seconds.
