I have never made a diary entry before, so I just made a real quick one. From what I see, there is no way to delete past diary entries on here. However, I think this would be a great suggestion to the staff. I don't see why it couldn't be implemented on ACC. I'm not completely sure whether there is a way or not, so what I would recommend waiting for a response from someone with more experience.

I'm afraid that there isn't a way to delete diary entries. But, just so you know I don't thank that the staff can see you entries, I remember reading that somewhere but I can't remember. (:
Unfortunately, there is no way to delete a diary entry. Rest assured that your diary entries are private, and no one can see what you've written.

I thought it was suggested as a fix, that diary entries would be made so you could delete them, but that my not be true.
Anyway, I think it should be added that you can delete them, but I don't really care much since I've never even clicked on 'My Diaries' at all during my time here.

Personally, I don't remember such a suggestion. However we do have a discussion active which is to do with the My Diaries section. We are discussing the possibility of enabling public as well as private entries and therefore they would be able to be reported, deleted and edited.

As I said, it may not be true but it doesn't really matter because the public and private idea is great, along with being able to delete, edit and report them. I personally wouldn't use it much but again - it's a great idea for those who do use their diaries currently.
Well, we thought it could be a way for people to run things like keyboard art services or other non-AC services. It would also be a good place for people to store templates (like Giveaways) without running out of editing time and without needing to sticky a thread.

Oh well the only reason I wanted to delete them is because I wanted to save some links but theres already a bunch of spam from like 4 years ago.. but if there's no way to delete it, thats fine, haha, thank you
When we work on the ''My Diaries'' section (which won't likely be this year), we will be aiming to allow for editing/deleting/reporting to apply to previous entries too.

If there was a option to report them, I assume that they won't be private any more? Or as you said above, you could have the option to make it public private. Correct? (:
Yes indeed! When the discussion was active, the idea developed up until then was to have both private and public settings. It's easier to have the Report A Problem button there at all times - especially if people are wishing to change from private to public. Also, Modmins should be able to report/remove both private and public.
As said though, this is unlikely to happen this year. So for those wishing to delete old entries, at least they know that the entries are private and that they will be able to delete them at some point in the future.

I had that problem with My Diaries, actually. What happened was I changed my default character, and I guess that character had its own diary. I eventually changed it back and got a nice blast from the past.
