The title says it all. Which is the saddest Movie/Anime/Book/TV Show? you have watched/read? This can range from feeling down to full on crying, if you like.
I have got to say The Grave of The Fireflies. I never cry at TV, films or books as I can never really connect with the story too well, but The Grave of The Fireflies has to be an exception. It definitely brought a tear to my eye and really touched my heart. Although, that was a one off, I don't believe I could ever bring myself 'round to watching it again. It depressed me so much the first time, I don't wanna re-live it! I would definitely recommend watching it!
Saddest film? Hmm... The first film I ever really, really cried at was Rain Man. It's the scene after they decide that Raymond is to go back to the home, and he and Charlie sit in the room together and Charlie says, "I like having you for my big brother." Ugh, it kills me! It makes me cry every time.
The saddest book I've ever read is Marley and Me. When Marley dies (although I'm pretty sure everyone knows that's what happens), it breaks my heart.
Finally, saddest TV episode I've seen is probably 'On The Beach' from ER. It was the death of my favourite character and one of the best characters on TV, and it was terribly sad.
"i dunno what i'd say is the saddest but i've cried at click, i am legend, the lion king, cast away (i was like 7 ok), gran torino, the first pokemon movie..."
Same for bolded parts, except I don't really 'cry' per se, but I count things were a tear or two rolled down my cheek.
Movie's that I teared up at: the Rugrat's movie (the part where Tommy's disowning Dill and is about to pour peanut butter at him DON'T JUDGE ME D: I was really little), Gran Torino, UP (it was when Kevin, the bird's name I think, was hurt and Carl didn't care about him and the kid 'cause he was all angry n stuff ). Castaway, though, I bawled. I wasn't even that invested in the movie when it was originally on, but when Wilson got swept off to sea, man, I was crying and it was really weird
I heavily teared up near the end of PJATO: The Last Olympian > Luke's death and teared up & got majorly depressed at MI: City of Glass > Max's death, man, Max's death.. Oh and I think I teared up when I reread CotL: Eye of the Forest > Phil not able to save Buck, man! it was horrible D: .
Gosh, I was tearing up at 24's series finale. That got me very depressed. Still can't believe it's over! Sherlock's second season's finale was pretty upsetting, too.
Out of everything imo: Saddest movie - Gran Torino Book - I can't choose. I feel like there are a lot of sad books that I haven't read TV Show - 24

A fair number of movies have made me tear up as of last year. Before that, I wasn't that much of an emotional wreak.
One of them was Harry Potter 7 part 2. Parts of it. Of course, I've read the book beforehand, but I didn't expect that to be that emotional on the big screen. It was Snape's Memories and the Forest scene that really got me, badly.
Afterwards, it's been a lot of the Pokemon movies - the ones that I've seen (which is nearly all of them). Let me see... 1st one - When Ash got Petrified after Mew and Mewtwo's attack and all the Pokemon were crying 3rd one - How Molly Hale felt about her dad not being there anymore and when Entei (illusion) sacrificed itself to stop the Unown 4th one - Celebi's death. 'Nuff said 5th one - Latios' sacrifice to save Alto Mare and also how badly affected he was by Annie and Oakley's use of the DMA 6th one - Max and Jirachi's parting - best pals for only one week 8th one - Ash apologizing to Lucario after their fight the previous night and he just had to cry! When Ash and everyone else (but the Pokemon) were swallowed up by those thingys and Pikachu crying made it worse. Sir Aaron's Time Flower message to Lucario and Lucario itself crying and finally, Lucario's own death. 9th one - The whole thing with May and Manaphy. After May overheard Jackie and Ash discussing about Manaphy's well-being and Lizabeth gave May a shoulder to cry on. Manaphy getting lost, May fearing the worst after the Sea Temple's saved and that emotional final scene, when May and Manaphy finally say goodbye 10th one - Darkrai's sacrifice just to save Alamos Town 13th one - When Zorua almost lost his "Meema", Zoroark. Zorua's pleas, everyone fearing the worst, Zorua's illusion plus the bg music (known as Home) = recipe for a good tear-jerker<-I first saw that movie on Christmas Day and I sort of knew it would be pretty emotional, but not that emotional. And last but not least, the dual 14th movies - During the climax, when Ash collapses due to lack of air and that he was trapped by the Pillars of Protection and then Victini's attack (V-Create) breaking the pillars, which (what they thought) led to a sacrifice and that final scene, after they have landed near the beach, when everyone upset over Victini's "sacrifice"
Man, I'm such a wuss. And idc whether you say "Old Pokemon's better" or not - it is perfectly fine by me! Things have to change and true fans accept that and move on.
Pokemon 1st movie when ash got petrified by Mewtwo and Mew. Jirachi wish maker when Jirachi left max when they were only friends for one week, Pokemon ranger and the temple of the sea when Manaphy said "Love you may." and left, Pokemon 4ever when celebi dies, and well... basically everything Acprincess said.

I didn't include the 7th, 11th and 12th ones, although I should've included the 12th. 7th one only had one sad moment and too many funny moments - Plusle mssing its best pal, Minun. 11th one's so-so. Just the mixture in your average movie. Giratina's near death and Shaymin leaving is all really - and Ash, you just had to be a wuss!
12th one - Arceus' near-death due to that Marcus/Shadow jerk and the whole future changing.
That's my lot. And why did I mention Shadow? The voice of Marcus has done Sonic and Shadow in Sonic X and is currently doing Cilan in the anime.
-sigh- I watched Lord of the Rings: return of the king yesterday,
I felt so... conflicted, It was so happy and sad at the same time.. on one side.. aragorn is king and got the marry arwyn, and sam gets to marry his crush.. but when I saw frodo bilbo and gandalf leave.. I almost cried D:... Also, when frodo told sam to go home and he was sitting there crying, that made me sad.. thats a breakthrough for me since I never feel any emotion when I watch movies other then like pure epicness or happiness
And finding neverland was the first movie I ever cried at (wasn't like but more of just a couple of tears) Idk it just made me kind of sad..
Also again, when I first saw wilson floating off into the sea, I cried too.. IDK WHY! but I cried I guess everyone did I was only 8-9 though.. but Idk it was almost like me losing a stuffed animal or something
