Not to be rude or anything, but might I ask why there should be a display implying how many Bells one has spent? I actually find it to be an interesting idea, but is it truly needed? There's nothing wrong with your idea, don't get me wrong, but I'm just curious.

Hm, I see. I agree with you as I think it should be displayed in your profile as a personal detail. And I like the idea of the Total Bells, Bells Spent and Bells Remaining feature. While it may not be a major feature, I still think it'd be interesting.

You're already allowed to do that in your profile. If you mean, in your avatar, this suggestion has been turned down many times due inappropriate pictures and overall disorganization. The way the ACC avatars are now fit a set theme.

Maybe acc can make us a little thing where we click on and then we get our own home and we can buy furniture and when people see our profile, they can see our house....

With regards to the images, while it may seem like a good idea, the Moderators already have enough to do, and to be honest, seeing too many images in posts may start to make the forums (with its uniform look) messy, in my opinion.

Also, the Blending Effect could work, however, I think the code for it would be pretty complicated (although the code being complicated wouldn't stop it from being under the "Long Term Development" Section on the Staff Work List). And that also ignores the fact that there are already gradients able to be used on ACC. However, I think that a blending effect would be able to save characters, so it may work.

I think that you should be able to buy like badge/icons. Like when a Mod has the 'M' logo next to their name and the Developer has the 'D' next to their name. Users should be able to buy little icons which mean different things,
eg. A fancy 'G' logo with a pink surround to show that the user is a girl and a 'B' with a blue surround to show that the user is a boy.
And like their should be some for people who have been on for a year, like every year you get a little icon/badge with a '2' in it with like a different colored surround like Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. ECT!
Reward Icon Badges, like for helping out in the Getting Started. Also like festive ones for Halloween like a pumpkin, witch hat, christmas a little green tree or something festive.
But only Honorary Citizens should get the stars, I only got the Honorary Citizen so I could Get the Star
But they shouldn't be easy to get or everyone would have a ton of them, just a reasonable amount and their should be a limit to how many you can have in use at a time like 5 or 10 because the bar where your username is when you post it very long and empty.
Lastly, PLEASE JUST OPEN THE BELL SHOP BEFORE CHRISTMAS, been waiting ages now

I hope that when you do open the bell shop that it will contain more items than not that can be obtained through Wii wii-fi. I don't have a PC or LT so items that would be have to be downloaded or cut/paste would not be obtainable. It's bad enough I am unable to give ratings to my friends, which many deserve 10 stars. If everything in the shop is only going to be obtainable through a PC then what's the point?
I think special new and rare items should be made available that you could order and have delivered to your towns. Yes I know this would require a special thread w/employees, but I'm sure it would't be a problem finding them. You could even have a contest for the naming of the thread.

If that's what you meant by the "avatars dressed in crowns or feathers" thing.

More backgrounds from the game(s) would be cool. I quite like the season ones they currently have, so having more variety would be interesting to see. *This is currently in discussion from what I can tell, but I just thought I might mention that it would be cool.

I'm guessing avatar clothes probably means something like clothes for customizing an existing avatar with the way you can customize your character within animal crossing or can customize pets on Neopets. Or at least, that's the way I square the first page saying avatars are fair game but avatar clothes are not. Mostly it's that while new human avatars, such as human avatars wearing specific items would be possible changing the way the avatar system works so that we could change our avatars' clothing would be a headache (to say the least). But perhaps I'm misinterpreting things.

Yes, similar to that. So from what I can tell we're getting at here, avatar clothes are basically putting on hats, accessories, etc. on your avatar. E.g. putting a necklace on my avatar, Purrl; similiar to what you were saying about how you were able to customise your pet on Neopets. This idea for our avatars (ACC'S avatars) in my opinion is unnecessary and impractical as characters in-game do not wear accessories at all, they only wear shirts/dresses (whatever you call them ).

The human avatars have a "somewhat" exception to this as they can wear accessories in-game anyway, but we (the members of ACC) are unable to choose what they wear on the avatars themselves, if that makes sense.

So basically in a nutshell, the need for accessories is unnecessary, which was said previously.

I hope we've cleared things up here.

I'm not sure if it has been suggested, but it would be fun if you could buy little icons (emoticon sized) and then choose 3 or so to be displayed somewhere below your avatar, near your signature, etc... The icons would be stuff that shows your interests or describes you in some way. For example, you could purchase a little Triforce icon to show you are a Zelda fan, or a icon with the female symbol to tell people that you are, in fact, a girl.

There are many possibilities: soccer balls, music notes, dogs, cats, pencils, etc. These would all be small and simple to make. They could even be user-submitted. Some special icons would cost more than other generic ones--for example, the Triforce one would be much more expensive than the soccer ball.

I think this would be fun, simple and rewarding. It wouldn't change the look of ACC too much, either. They would have to be placed in a spot so they wouldn't be confused with icons that show a person is a moderator, administrator or donator.

For now, I will call them "pins" because this idea reminds me of buttons and pins you might pin onto your bag or backpack to show off your interests.

Whilst this is a lovely idea, the thing that I see stopping something like this is that it is pretty limitless in what to make. As you mention Zelda, we would then have to create a symbol for pretty much every other game in existence and there will be someone that wants it.
This is also pretty much what you Other Stuff About Me section is for in your profile.
I'm not trying to put your idea down, it just seems like we have something for this already in place.
