The scenario:
You have the ability to reverse the flow of time in the following manner: You can go back to any previous point of your life and take control of yourself from there. This allows you to make different decisions than you did originally, but you can't warp back to the future, so you have to relive however much of your life that you skipped over going back in time. This also decreases your lifespan: If you go back in time four minutes, for example, you have to live those four minutes a total of twice. Your body is functioning during both sets of four minutes, so it's also deteriorating. This will result in you dying approximately four minutes earlier (so you'll still live for the same number of minutes, but four of them ended up being negated, if that makes sense).

Interestingly with that question I've noticed people tend to fall into three categories
1. the companion type - Those who choose someone they could get along with or would like to know better
2. The survival type - those who would choose a partner that would maximize their chances of survival.
3. The escape type - those who would choose a partner that could get them back to civilization.

OK, so this Island couldn't have been deserted indefinitely because there's some sort of ruins on it. What do you expect to find inside and what do you wish you could find inside?
