Hi, not sure if this has already been announced, but you can now pre-0rder the 3DS version from different outlets in the UK. According to zavvi.com it is due for release on 11th May but doubt that is accurate...

Hmm i checked Zavvi, i'm not sure i trust it either.

I usually rely on Amazon, i'm in the UK and the UK site has no info about the game at all but you can pre-order on .com but it says "Official pricing and release date have not been announced by the publisher. These are estimates only and subject to change"

So i'll just wait for Nintendo to announce a release date before i pre-order

I was given a May release date by GameStop here in the USA also, then I visited the store again last week and preordered it, and the date was pushed back to Sept. I saw someone say on another thread I read tonight that they work for game stop and a distributor told her it was going to be January before they release.....

It's not going to be released in 2013, it's up for release this year, just nobody knows when.

Keep checking this site it is a site for release dates on upcoming games, AC3DS is further down and it's To Be Available 2012.

The dates given to you by stores are merely placeholder dates until the real release date has been announced. My friend manages a GameStop and told me this. Let's say a placeholder date is May 7, 2012. If the game has not been announced x amount of weeks prior to this date, they move the placeholder date again, just so the game itself is already in the database and they can do pre-orders.

Last week Gamestop told us their placeholder was for June. Last month it was for May. I saw a YouTube video yesterday that said I believe a UK Nintendo magazine said ETA Summer 2012. What makes me mad is they just announced Pokemon Black and White 2 and it'll be out in Fall (October) 2012. Not that I'm mad about a new Pokemon game, but  AC3DS was announced in 2010 and still no release date has been announced and they just announced this new Pokemon game and it'll be out in a matter of months!!!   Sorry... had to vent.

Well to be honest, while Nintendo isn't as outwardly money-hungry as some other corporations out there, I'm sure they keep Pokemon as a top priority as its one of their main veins of ore if you will, especially over something like AC.

Yes, when you consider how many haours and hours and hours of pure enjoyment i have got out of ACCF and ACWW over many years for only the initial outlay, I really dont mind them making a living out of my obsession....My life is richer for it for sure.

It's just an estimated date, which means the release date isn't decided yet.

The best thing to do is wait until E3.

Yeah everytime someone says Gamestop has a new release  date for the ac3ds, I ask did  Gamestop get the release date from Nintendo? and just a guess I think it is not being released till after the new furniture Haunted Series for the Accf/Aclgttc  is done,  the last DlC for that is in October 31, 2012 some time after that I'm estimating  , thank goodness I still havent purchased the 3ds because  the ac3ds is still not released , I currently own the DSIXL at the moment I dont need that new system, and i want my system to be spanking new when it gets released

My whole family (all three of us) have 3DS's and have three copies of AC3DS pre-ordered/paid off at Gamestop. We are HUGE AC fans.

I'm really hoping that that we get a release date announcement soon. Though, I'm sure, at the very least, we'll know at E3....*sigh*

I really wish they'd get the game out already! We bought our 3DS's for this game!! Don't get me wrong: I love the system, but...it really sucks that AC3DS is STILL NOT OUT.

Oh and about release dates: remember: DON'T TRUST ANYONE BUT NINTENDO! Gamestop makes up placeholder dates and so does a lot of other places. Don't believe a date until you hear it from NINTENDO.

Along with new Mario and Kirby game announcements, Nintendo also announced a release date for the new Animal Crossing for 3DS in Japan.

The game will be releasing in Fall. No word on what will be happening with the North American version of the game, but hopefully we will know details soon.

It can't come soon enough for me. I have been sitting waiting with my 3ds for 25 months! The good thing is that I have been playing WW a lot to keep my mind off it. I feel like I did when I was a kid waiting for Christmas to come!

I haven't pre-ordered AC3DS yet.  I'm not sure if I would rather drive to the store and get it  on the release date or wait until it comes in the mail from pre-ordering it online.  I remember when City Folk was released, it was on a Sunday and I just got back from my honeymoon.  So I previously pre-ordered it online and didn't get it until that Tuesday.  I know only 2 whole days until it I actually had it in my possession to play   So I might just pick it up on the day it comes out so I have it!

DF2506 I agree to wait until Nintendo officially gives the date, which should hopefully be soon since Nintnedo confirmed its release in Japan for the fall. Hopefully the US, AUS and EU are not far behind that date

Those new screenshots are pretty awesome!  Is there a thread anywhere on ACC that breaks down the new screenshots? I didn't see one yet.  I'd like to see if anyone else spots any more clues as to new features about the game   I already see a few obvious new things

The only definite date that I know of is fall in Japan.  Have not see anything for certain for the UK or US. Looks like a lot from all 3 versions is in it.  From the village drawings posted so far it looks like the GCN style island is back for a start.  Not sure if I will pre-order or not.  Nintendo is starting to do digital downloads, so, if available, I would probably do that.  Then I could play as soon as it was made available.
