I know this is kind of weird, but I hope Litwick is a starter in it. I love my Litwick.

I imagine they kept pikachu since it's the pokemon that stars in a lot of pokemon games. (That and being Ash's main partner with the tv show)

If they actually do limit the list of starters compared to the recent games, I'm curious as to why.

I don't know what Japanese translates in English but it appeared part of the vid referred to both 3ds and the other ds consoles....Is the game only playable on the 3ds or is it possible for the DSI just with content restrictions?

Nope, there's no way to fit a 3DS game card in a DS/DSLite/DSi/DSiXL.

Guess i'll just have to work with watching vids of others playing it like any other game i can't get.

Kanji are chinese characters, which are put in Japanese, but they're mixed with Katakana and Hiragana.

If it is Chinese it will only be the complex chinese characters.

It was a facepalm moment because Pokemon came from Japan, yet those guys used Kanji in the ad.
