This is the thread where you can talk about photography, post your photos and let other people give feedback on your photos.

The Challenges:
Every week (monday thru saturday) there is a photo competition. There's a theme and you take a photo of something related to the competitions theme. Challenges end every week on Saturday's at 3PM ACC Time. You will be added to the PT for the entries where you can submit your entries (please ask to be entered if you are new) . The judges will decide which photos are the best and give a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and an Honorable Mention. Most likely the results will be posted on Sundays and we either get our new challenge Sunday or Monday. The person that places 1st in the past weeks challenge gets to pick the new challenge from the two lists or comes up with one on their own. If you have any questions feel free to ask (:

Elenut10- The Sawyer picture is amazing. Chester is a bit out of focus, and the Charlie picture has a bit too much blue in my opinion.

Bones5678; First of all, I LOVE cats so much! And I love your photos of them. And actually, for the 3rd one, I love the background, the fact that you can't really see the background is great, because it's entirely focused on the cat. If the cat is the subject of your photo, it's actually nice to have the background be a bit fuzzy!

ShyAnn - Personally I prefer the top picture :3 It really brings out your eyes and it's slightly darker. I like the feel it has to it. xD

Bones - 1. I like this one. The focus and color are really crisp, but eye contact is hard to get....
2. this one is a little meh.... its weird how the cat is way to the left.

random - 1. Oh yeah! I saw this one on dA. I'm not sure if I favorited it or commented :B its really sweet how the ends match up so well

Elenut - 1. yay! eye contact! soo cute! it may be a bit blurry near the muzzle, but that's understandable. great colors.
2. this one's kinda blurry around the muzzle too. and I'm not a fan of unnatural lighting, although I realize a lot of us have to use it quite often.
3. ah hah, over the shoulder. very cute. the focus is pretty good, i just think it could be slightly brightened.

FlowerFest - yeah, we're trying to figure out the best way for judging, because some of the old judges [like me] want to enter as well. and we'd like to have more opinions

cheese - 1. awhhh! that's so cuuute!! I wish we could see more of the kitteh's face, instead of just one eye. I actually might want try this with my uncle's cat, if you don't mind :B . . . . xD
2. i like this. the reflection isn't in the middle of the photo, which I really like, and the treeline is sort of a hazy-gray
3. eh, i think it would be better with out the people on the left. or it would work better if there were more people throughout the shot.
4. same for this one. or you could make it a little more focused on the people be cropping a bit.
5. ooooh... it's pretty blurry, but I like the idea of that. how the person is in the middle of the path and..... it's just cool ;)

Whoops, I just look at the avvy. I remember wiggle is [or used to be] some sort if bird. Yeah, I think whoever is in charge that week should get the PT's. Then we can switch up responsibilities depending on who's gonna be available.

Yeah, OK. I'm going to France on the 3rd and will be back on the 16th so people can PT you then, and they can PT me whenever...I don't mind, let's just say the responsibility is shared between both of us. (:

Expect lots of beach pics when I get back from my holiday though! :D

Well, I got a picture of a skunk that was in my yard today, and I was most impressed with myself! Unfortunatly, the picture isn't the best, I didn't want to get terribly close....I can't wait until this weekend, Saturday I'm having a full photo taking day with my boyfriend. Hopefully I'll actually have enough batteries for my camera

Only a couple weeks until my photography gets published in a book. I'm deathly excited!
