No, I'm just trying to work out how that was done I have a feeling maybe the sparkle brush was used?

Sparkle brush, noh I used the paint splatter brush, samsabrah.

A lighter orange would be really cool.

As someone who has labored over cutting out those animals before I can definitely say that a black background would [I]not[/I] play well. The white and orange look really cool though. It might be something of interest for the new R&D team or maybe the Bell Shop.

I like the star background o3o but i don't think those could work cause the staff has the option to use backgrounds we don't have (probably like, two or three, including a star one )

What do you mean we don't have the option to choose a background? We do Or do you mean the new backgrounds?

no i mean the staff has avatar backgrounds we don't xD just look at a couple of the Scouts avatars

I don't see why that's a problem. Do you mean that their backgrounds should be recolored, too? That can be done.

You can see them, but not NEARLY as much as you can on a black background.

Something you guys need to consider is not only how avatars will look to you, personally, but how they will look on ACC as a whole. ACC looks so nice because it all matches, everything flows and every little detail coincides with the general design and look of the site. New avatar backgrounds will not be taken as lightly as you guys may think...there is a very high standard that hoggle set when he designed everything; something that I've come to respect when I'm asked to design emotes, banners, and even the bell shop.

With that said, if you want your re-colors/designs to really have a fighting chance, you need to make sure that they won't upset the visual balance of the site. Make sure your shades of re-colorings match the shades of our current backgrounds, make sure that they aren't too bright nor too dark. That kind of stuff.

I really like this, so I flagged it, that way, I can see when you make more!!

So how can we change everything if it's all running smoothly already?

Does anyone have the HTML Notation for the current avatar backgrounds? Green, purple, red etc. I understand that on some backgrounds a gradient has been used, but if you don't know the colours for the gradient, don't worry about it

Black backround maybe. Like a more gothic ACC lol JK

Here are all the backgrounds I have made recently, ignore the one named "Water", that's an animation and I forgot to take it out I'm planning on making a few more, but I'm all out of ideas But once I get inspired and make a few more, I shall be sending them in

Personally, Sam, the only ones out of those that I tihnk would fit ACC, are the first abstract ones. Although you can't really see anything in the yellow one. I really like yours Dani.

I can read your mind, I wonder why it happened.

I really like these. My favourite is the white and orange. I do feel like you g=have to consider the fact that not all the colours match ACC so it wouldn't flow as much, like the black.

Too bad though..

Without trying to say too much, there will be 2 versions of backgrounds in the Bell Shop, and more better and more detailed than the current ones, wouldn't those fit into that department?

Sam, the bells shop is still in the makings and nothing is set in stone.  We can't make backgrounds based off of those.  What they are looking for are backgrounds that fit the style of the rest of ACC and that aren't much like the staff's backgrounds.  We don't want everything to look very different from the rest of the site, or that would make it look bad.

I understand that, but there is 2 different versions of backgrounds that will be available from the bell shop, one of which is more detailed and a little like the staff backgrounds, would they fit in that category?
