Nice town!  It's not included on this guide, but you have what I call the 'grand canyon'.  It's a large canyon (aprrox 1 acre wide and 2 to 3 acres long) with navicable cliff walls (that are the same length) on both sides.  According to my research, it's quite rare - maybe a 4 or 5.  Maybe Zach will add it to the next guide.

My house is right on the beach! The other character's and villager's  houses are pretty evenly spaced out.

Marsey - are you sure that you have both a canyon and reverse canyon, that seems pretty unlikely.

I think so, from what I see in the pictures. I am really new to this game. Is a reverse canyon sort of an outcropping that you can walk on?

That sounds more like a cliff.

Would a section of my town, which is 12 spaces wide by 32 spaces long with a cliff on the left and on the right is a 32 spaces long section with the west cliff- fold back ramp about 15 spaces from the bottom of that section be considered a canyon? And if so, how many points?
On the right side of my town is what I believe is a reverse canyon (judging by the pictures), but it's only 15 pattern spaces long and the South west Corner L-Shaped Ramp is 6 spaces from the end of that. Does It still count, and if it does, how many points? Also I have the East facing Crooked Waterfall.
The houses are the Barn and Pink Cabana styles. The gate is the Castle Gate. My fruit is apples.

Okay so this is my town map. Sorry for the awful quality. I had to take iPod pics because I don't have an SD card for my Wii.

Anyway this is what I've calculated:

East-facing crooked waterfall - 1
South-east facing straight ramp - 2
South-west corner ramp - 2
Bay - 2
Canyon - 2 or 4. (I'm not sure if it's over 2 acres)

So in total, I would have either 9 or 11.

refusetoshine - Judging by the picture, it is longer than 2 acres (it's a bit hard to tell, but I'm pretty sure). Nice town, by the way.

That sounds like a very nice town! And no, the canyon doesn't need an 'exit' to be counted as a canyon

My town has a very weird building layout.
2 resident(human houses) are side by side diagonally.
Nearby are Bones and Dotty's houses!!
The town hall is at the top, the shop a little ways down the road.
The Tailors is at the bottom of the ramp.
The museum is across the river.
Weird!!
No houses Inside my canyon.
P.S. Thought I saw a reverse canyon. Going to double check.

I've reset 29 times, I got 12 islands but none with a house on them One time I got 3 ramps, idk how... Hopefully I'll get one soon
