There was a sneak peek. I'm the one who asked for it. And it's being worked on. It said that thbell shop cycles through its inventory everyday.

And I'm starting to feel more on the pessimist's side here. I'm starting to doubt the existance of a bell shop too now.

I know how you feel guys, and if I weren't the one designing it all I'd feel the same. But, as myself and other R&D members have said, it will definitely be something we will begin to work on following our first site update.

I suppose we all have to sit tight and be patient. The team is working as hard as they can, having never done site programming and all that myself, I can imagine it would be difficult. The rest of us can't do much but wait and see and I trust that after all this time the shop will be great.

Is the bell shop and everything still in beta? Didn't this start in July 2010?

Sorry, it's just that I've taken a break for a while and I'm not entirely sure where things are. From what I remember a while ago, basically everything is ready or near ready, and it's just a matter of time before everything is updated, shop and all. The jackpot thing was added and people have been collecting bells for one and a half years now. What's the bottleneck? I mean, I'm not on the team working on it or anything, but at this point I have no idea how long it will take for the bell shop to be implemented. Jader seems to be more active, and the team (from what I can see) is working diligently. I guess I'm just confused.

I'm not trying to be annoying or impatient, but I am trying to be realistic.

Anywhoo, is there a rough estimate for when everything will start getting fancy?

The bell jackpot thing was the first thing that was implemented since I joined in 2007. Ah well, I guess we have no choice but to be patient. I'm willing to help in any way I can though, if I'm needed.

There could be like these parites that admins and mods host. Every week there can be a party! And the people(3( who won the most bells that week can go to the admins and mod's town! They could play games nd have fun!! And you are only aloud to go once every month or two! That would be cool!!!

Why Titan? He's the only person who's done any work on it. He's finished designing it. We just have to wait for the Developers to code it. I believe they're planning on starting after they finish with the first or second batch of updates.

Ricky has done a lot of good work. His work on the emotes has been great.

I've been told that the whole site is going to be re-coded before the changes are fully implemented. The current coding is harder to work with or something like that.

No, we're definitely not going to do that. The code is old, yes, but it's nothing that we can't work with and improve as we go along.

As for an update on the bell shop, I can tell you that the R&D discussions about it have been opened up to all staff and that we're working as fast as possible to release it in the second update.
