I've been trying to open my gates and when I do it says that I have been disconnected from Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.  How do I fix this problem??

I bought a lan adapter. I could not get connected through my wireless router and I haven't had any problems since.

Sadly I cant spend money on extra stuff since I'm tight on money right now.  Is there any thing I could do without spending money??  It worked last night but this is the first time since June that its happened to me

Perhaps you can try resetting your router/wifi settings?

Well tonight on ACWW I tried to visit my daughter but her town didn't show up, and she tried to visit me - same problem.

So, I phoned a friend and we tried, but again, same problem, our towns just weren't showing up. Yet we managed to visit each other at the weekend!

Must be a problem at Nintendo's end?

Yes it is nintendos problem, they have been having wifi iusses for the last 7 days, hope its fixed soon, as everyone i wifi with has been having probs

That happens sometimes, I usually just go out the gate then go back and try again.  

This may be a Nintendo issues. Yesterday and today I could not connect to make a trade and many others are reporting the same problem.

Glad to see its not just me ... I just had my gates open & was almost finsihed watering all my flowers & "bam" the connection went! I'm not going to water them again either ... That just gives me more incentive to restart after they die ... been wanting to restart anyway, I find I'm now bored with my town.

I wonder if this has anything to do with it being a holiday weekend and in many places the last weekend before the kids are off to school.

I remember when ACCF first came out, wifi was terrible over Xmas vacation because there were so many people trying to use it.

They just did something with the servers or something last week taking down the whole wifi system for a few hours.  Had to bust out the gamecube game lol.  Been meaning to for a while but that was the perfect time to.  

Has anyone been able to wifi today?

Yep, I managed to play with my daughter for a couple of hours - no problems at all.
