Set your DS clock back to January 1st, 2000 at 12AM or 00:00.
If that works, then restart your town since there really isn't any way to tell where the brick is.

Or you can have a de-seeder come and remove the seed.
There's a code called "Search teleport" that searches for an item hex and then teleports your character to it.
