Today my friend who I haven't seen for over a year was back at school and I don't know why but I can't bring myself to say hello to them and everytime I see them I end up running in the opposite direction?

DJBubbles: How did he offend you? Have you told an adult? If you didn't do so ASAP, not only for yourself, but for anyone else who may have been offended in a similiar manner.
On the other hand this this offensive thing is not what I think it is, simply talk about old memories, that's always how I talk to people I haven't seen for long amounts of time. Once we do, we realize who we're talking too is the person involved in "The toilet paper incident" or "The best (worst) lunch ever"

DJBubbles: That's good, well not GOOD, but better than the offensive things I imagined... But if you haven't told an adult it's a good idea to tell one anyway.
Just go for it, nothing is holding you back, it's an old friend of yours! You have to make sure you have fun! But if they did change, accept that and move on. Recently I've gained and lost dozens of friends, but life moves on.

Teling an adult, depending on a situation, could possibly be tattling. Unless someone is dying, I keep my problems to myself, away from parents and teachers.

strawberry5421: If someone has done something to make you feel uncomftrable, it is usally best to make sure someone knows. Once you get older, you must deal with your problems on your own, but I can guess the OP is 9-11, and during that time telling an adult is always the best chance you have.

DJBubbles: Do what you choose but if it made you feel unfomtrable or unsafe then someone needs to know.
I was bullied severly when I was little and never told anyone, and it's created a whole world of problems for me now. I find myself afraid of people, I find myself afraid of public schools. It's simply not fun.

DjBubbles: Try asking a adult or teacher, or write them a note. I wouldn't let this keep happening, and don't hide it. it will cause more problems later. Tell and adult plz.
