Has anyone ever grown a golden tree? (Not a money tree, but a literal golden tree)
If anyone hasn't and wants to know how, here are some directions:

1. Make sure you have a regular shovel in your pockets

2. Find a shiny spot on the ground where 1,000 bells are buried

3. Dig up the bells, but make sure NOT to rebury the hole

4. then bury the shovel in the same spot that you dug up the bells

5. And if you followed these steps correctly, you should see a little golden sapling pop up. Make sure that you don't run over or disturb the tree in anyway during the growing process. Then when it is fully grown, shake the tree and out comes a surprise! (I am not going to tell you what it is, but you can probably guess)

No, it only works if you bury a shovel in the shiny spot. And then, when the tree grows, it will drop a Golden Shovel when you shake it.

I wonder what would happen if you buried a golden shovel in the golden spot?  I thought that would be more convenient than buying extra shovels.

Well, you would have to have two golden shovel to do it, and if it didn't work, you would have just wasted a perfectly good opportunity to plant a golden tree.
