I'm a bit confused!

On Saturday, in ACWW, we had a firework show and Tortimor told me that was the last firework show for the season, but, my animals keep saying the firework shows are going to start on Saturday and last for a month - what's correct?

I doubt there will be fireworks. September marks the beginning of autumn. August is still summertime in Japan, as having summer fireworks tradition is from there.
I doubt the game will show more until new year's eve.
