I got an orange rose, a black rose, a purple rose, a purple tulip and an orange pansy today. Sadly, no blue roses spawned.

The hybrids that appeared today: A purple rose, black tulip and a white carnation.

Only 1 black tulip spawned in my town today.

I got a black rose, a pink tulip, a purple tulip and a purple pansy today.

Today was a very good day for hybrids!  I got my very first pink cosmos along with a black cosmos, pink rose, and purple pansy.

Hi congratulations on the hybrids. I have never had much success could be I had too many flowers. I had hybrids but very few were my own.

Now that I have started again with my town I will try to grow hybrids

I will read the advice above  plant tonight and let you know if anything happens.

Today I got a pink rose and two pink tulips.

Meh, just a black rose today.

I got 2 orange pansies, an orange cosmos, an orange rose and a purple rose today.

Finally getting back into CF after being at school. Currently I'm in February. I don't recall how many flowers started it, but I have a collection of pink, white, and red roses freely spawning on a cliff, and just recently, some pink roses spawned at the base. There are now 6 pink roses as an offfshoot of the main group at the base

As I move through the months I've been taking some time to rearrange and try to produce more variety. I think after looking at this thread again I'll have to step that up and take day to re-evaluate my flower and hybrid production

I do have a question, though:

The watering pattern is a 3x3 grid of watered spaces. Does that apply over cliffs? Say I water a flower on the edge of a cliff, does it water also flowers at the base? I keep forgetting to check that out, but I'll do so if there isn't already an answer.

Don't have an answer to the question about watering over a cliff, but here's another thing I've been wondering:

If not watered, does a flower die after being brown for one day? Or two days? I remember for some reason on WW the flowers would last for two days brown and unwatered before dying.

I also a got a red carnation but even though it's not a hybrid, it's been the first new one I've seen in a long time so I consider it to be special anyway.

hornbob: Yes, the watering grid applies over cliffs. I spawned some hybrids that way.

silentspeedy: A wilted flower will die the next day if it isn't watered.

I moved some black and purple roses to one of my most fertile areas, so hopefully I'll get more blue roses soon.

(Needs more orange cosmos and purple pansies though, this is becoming a joke...)
