The Google ads on ACC are ideally driven by the content on the page they appear on, and are usually family friendly. However, since we can't dictate which ads appear, there are unfortunately times that an ad is not family friendly. We have the ability to filter these ads out of ACC, but only if you guys let us know when they appear.
Whenever you run across an ad that you feel is not family friendly, please report it to the staff, either in this thread, via a PT or use this link. The only thing we need is the web address that appears under the ad.
Please make sure that your message to us contains only the web address, for example:
If an address is not shown under the ad (for example, image ads), please right-click the ad, select "Copy Shortcut", and paste the address into your message to us.
Note that due to Google's process for filtering ads, it may take a few days before the ad is removed from ACC after we add it to our filter. Also note, that any PTs sent directly to staff members regarding this may get overlooked, so please only use the link above to report ads that are not family friendly.

Adrie:If it is a Mac, Then Go to System Preferances, Go to KeyBoard and Mouse and go to Mouse, Make the Right side the secondary button, Then You can right click, Click copy link, then go report that ad, and Paste, If it is windows, Simply Right click and Find a Option To Copy the link [Does not have to say Copy Shortcut] and paste in the Report area.

But it's not a Mac (I am a PC). When I right click on some ads (I think the flash ones) then there's no option to copy the shortcut or link or anything.
So wait, we are being told to post links to bad ads in a public thread where anyone can go to the site? I don't think that is the best idea. At least once you get it you should edit out he link so people can't click it, because according to your rules, that is against the rules because it posts the URL to a bad site

2 Can Wii users report ads since there is no copy and paste feature?
3 I don't know how to report an ad so I'll just describe the ad. There's an ad going around of three comic tee shirts. One says "I can't hear you over how epic I am", I forgot what the third one said, and the reason I'm reporting it is that one shows a picture of Jesus and then says brb ! It's an insult to Jesus. And I bet if an ad showed a mockery of Buda it would get *removed*. So don't tell me that this ad isn't inappropriate or offensive!

We require the address of the ad to do anything, so you wouldn't be able to on the Wii

Several times I've reported an ad (once last year in November, once in February, once in May) and it contains an offensive word. Nothing has been done. Tell me why, please?

This isn't an official staff answer, but there are many reasons. First, some parts of the site kind of fell apart and have problems, that may be the case. Possibly no one has checked it, or they didn't follow through. Jader needs to manually hand edit the code, which always causes room for error, or if the ad has a new URL but same image it is a whole new ad in the system. So there are many possibilities.
