Welcome to the 6th AC:CF Villager Movement Thread! Villager Trading Guide Made by Midnight_Sun17
Well, to trade villagers I would come to your town a few times a week and talk and send letters to only the villager we are trading, then when they packs up their boxes (hopefully I will have room in my town, if not I can always fast track time till someone moves out), I will come and talk with them again, send them letters etc. then once the animal have moved out (preferably the day after) wifi with me again. Make sure I am the LAST person you wifi with for a while, until they move into my town, just to make sure they will move into mine, and not someone else that you wified with after me.
Also to speed up process of the specific townie you want to move out, follow these simple tips:
- Push or walk into them until they get angry. - Hit the with your net 3 times. - Bury a pitfall near where they are walking then push them into it. - Ignore them when they chase you and don't talk to them. - Don't send them letters. - If you do talk to them and they ask you for a favor, decline it.
Sending Letters: To send letters to an animal in another town is easy, simply go to that town then talk to that animal, then get some paper and address the letter to them, you can either send them a letter when in their town or from your own town, but you have to be in their town to address the letter to the animal!

That's exactly my point though. It's our choice to make whether we want to "waste time" taking the chance. Not yours. You act like you're granting us permission to play our game the way we want!
It's awesome that you came in and gave us the warning, because I'm sure some people didn't know. Personally, I think it's quite clear in the OP that it's not foolproof, and may not happen at all. I'm just saying that it's pointless for you to keep making snide comments to those of us who DO want to keep trying anyway since that's what the thread is here for.

Whatever. It's pathetic that THIS, which has no proof to even work, has more people than WW villager trading, does actually work and I've done it since July/August and have had many successful trades!

Not everyone has WW, and not everyone who does is on this forum. We can't change that. I lost mine in a fire - I'm certainly not going to go buy a new DS and game cartridge when I have CF already.
We have to try, and adapt our methods, and try some more, and adapt some more. There's no way for us to find a method that IS foolproof unless we (say it with me!) TRY.
I specifically said I wasn't trying to be rude, but you certainly are. Your posts seem to be just for the sake of an argument, and I'm certainly not going to keep up the other end of that for you. You told us about your experiences, and obviously some of us are willing to keep trying. Please stop derailing and attacking our thread if you have no interest in what it is here for.

Nobody realizes that a TON of people have tried already; almost, if not, everybody who already tried has abandoned this. Why? It. Does. Not. Work. I don't care anymore if you go against it and try, I highly doubt you will succeed though. I am NOT trying to argue, I am trying to get my point across but nobody is even realizing it.

I don't know how else I can say this: I understand that it hasn't worked for some people, and I choose to continue to try. I understand that because you've said it about fifteen times in our thread since last week.
I can't make that decision for anyone else in the thread, and neither can you. Posting every twenty minutes with a snide reminder that it doesn't work will not change everyone's choice, and in actuality is considered spam.
I am going to the pub now, because if I'm going to get into ridiculous fights with people it is absolutely going to be over a pint. I hope you enjoy playing your game, and let us do the same.

KingB24 - although everyone is entitled to their opinions, there is no need to constantly repeat those opinions. It has been made very clear that people want to try - so let them. It doesn't make a difference to you if they do and they may in fact find a way to make it work.
daniellemary - You may want to approach a member called CC84 who engineered a townie moving into her town from a friend's town. I believe it involved both of them switching off their WiiConnect24 after the WiFi session and neither of them WiFi'ing until the move had been completed.
