Q: How many animals can be in my town? How do I get villagers to stay/leave my town?

A: 10 is the max, there are quite a lot of extra sign boards however (houses only appear over sign boards). To get a Villager to stay/leave, when speaking to a villager, he or she may mention that they are thinking about moving. A villager will think about it 7 days before they actually do pack up and leave. You can sway their decision, only if you get to them before they pack their boxes. There is no way to change their mind if it is too late, you must be sure to consistently speak with an animal each day to be certain or not if he or she is moving. Q: DLC? New nintendo items?

A: DLC stands for Downloadable content. Nintendo can create new items for city folk and send them out to fellow ACCF players. You must be connected to the internet (via wireless router) and have your wii connect 24 set to on (you can find this option on the phone options in your attic). Q: Why can’t I add/remove/move furniture in my attic? How do I change the bed in my attic?

A: Your attic, (which is where your bed is, the one you wake up from at the start screen) sometimes confused with your upstairs’ room, cannot be altered in any way other than changing the bed, which is addressed in the next question. To change the bed in your attic, go up to the end of the bed and press the A Button (pressing the A Button on the side of the bed causes you to jump onto it). If you do this correctly a message should come up saying “Want a different bed?”. You then choose “Switch!” and choose a bed from your inventory to change it to.

Q: How do I get a tan/sunburn?

A: Play in sunlight during the second half of July or during August. If your character stays inside a lot, if you play at night, or if you play with an umbrella you will lose your tan. This will take awhile though, so a recommendation is to stand by the beach, turn the TV off or turn the channel, and leave the Wii going. For more information, check out this guide.

Q: Why is my default character saying someone else’s catchphrase?

A: Animals may be saying others catchphrases for the reason they may have picked it up from another animal if they had a conversation.

Q: How do I grow a money tree?

A: To plant a money tree, use the Golden Shovel to plant an bury somewhere between 1,000 and 90,000 bells. if the tree grows, it may just sprout three bags of the amount of bells you planted. Note: Even if the tree grows to maturity, money is not guaranteed to grow; also note that once picked, the money will not grow back. For more information, check out this guide.

Q: Why doesn’t Joan sell me any Red Turnips? Turnip Prices?

A: Joan only sells red turnips if it’s been more than a week since the last time you time traveled or if your Wii and in-game clock differ by a significant amount of time. To fix this, resynchronize the times. You can buy white turnips from Joan on Sundays, tom nooks turnip prices will change everyday. Your turnips will rot after a week, so be sure to sell by next Sunday. Make sure to look for a good deal, you can make some serious bells here if you sell for a much higher price than you bought them for. For more information, check out this thread.

Q: How do I get the Golden/Silver Tools?

A: Golden Rod: Catch all fish, Golden Net: Catch all bugs, Golden Shovel: Bury a shovel, Golden Axe: Serena, Golden Watering Can: Keep your town perfect for 16 days, Golden Sling: Shoot down 15 presents.

Silver Rod: Tom Nooks, Silver Net: Tom Nooks, Silver shovel: Resettis home, located behind the cones on the eastern side of the city below katrinas, the cones will randomly be open around 8pm on random days. Silver Axe: Serena, Silver watering can: Posy famrs (buy 15 flower bags from tom nook), Silver Slingshot: Tom Nooks.

Q: How do I get other fruit?

A: If you send your villagers mail they will sometimes send you foreign fruit in return., Some nice friends will also spare you some fruit as well. Remember that each town has its own native fruit: Apples, Peaches, Pears, Oranges, or Cherries. Coconut trees can also be grown (sometimes a coconut will wash up on shore), however they are not native to any town, and must be planted near the beach area. Q: How do I get the item in __________ ’s house?

A: Send the villager in question furniture through the mail, or give him the type of furniture he asks you for. He/she’ll eventually replace the furniture you give him with that in his house (you’ll find his unwanted furniture in the Recycle Bin).

Q: How do I get into Redd's in the city?

A: Talk to the villagers in town, eventually one will mention an invite into Redd's, accept the offer, and take the invite you got from them in the mail the following day to Redd's to get in. For more information, check out this guide. For a list of all Redd's exclusives, check out this guide.

Q: Do I still need to water my dying flowers when it is raining/snowing?

A: Nope! No flowers will die after a rainstorm.

Q: When do special visitors come?

A: During any given week, Monday through Friday, when Tortimer or Cornimer are not scheduled to appear, the game will host one visit from Crazy Redd (scheduled by you), two days with visits from Wendell, Saharah, Pascal, Katrina, Gracie, Gulliver, or Shrunk, and two days of Katie/Kaitlin, Blanca, or Pete. Special visitors come at different times. It is possible for Blanca to appear after some special visitors leave, for example, Blanca could appear after 12AM when Wendell leaves town. Q: Some big plant popped into my town today, what is it?

A: This would be the Rafelsia, this plant pops up in your town if you have too many weeds. It cannot be plucked however so the only way to remove all your weeds from one acre of town (if you have your acres marked off), and it should disappear within a few days. Q: How do I make a snowman?

A: The key is to find a snowball, which will be used for the base, and make it as Big as it can get. For the head, make the snowball slightly smaller, to about your chin. If you did it right, good job! If not, just keep trying. For more information, check out this guide.

Q: How do I get an opposite gender haircut?

A: After purchasing 16 haircuts at Shampoodles, Harriet may offer you an "opposite-gender" haircut style "Pixie cut". For more information, check out this guide.

Q: Why won't the coconut grow!?

A: Coconuts will only grow by the sea shore, remember, this means by the sand. It can actually stretch quite the distance above the shore line, about an acre.

Q: What's King Tut's Wig?

A: The king tut wig is a mask type item that has the image of an Egyptian pharaoh (the coffin image). It is golden, can be bought at The Able sisters for 12,000 bells, and is "Cursed". By "Cursed" it means it will make you trip every once in awhile when wearing it.

Q: How do I catch a bee? How do I avoid bee stings?

A: Bees are found by shaking trees, a random tree may carry a nest. Now, the tip to catching a bee is to, First, run towards an open area, somewhere where you can see. Next, Pause the screen. The bees will be circle-ing your head frantically. Second, equip. your net, BUT, do not un-pause. Take a look at the top screen, try and look for a change in there pattern, your queue is to un-pause as SOON as you see they have gotten a little farther from your head. Press "A" immediately for the hopes on catching one. This isn't full proof, but is definitely one of the only ways on catching these things. If you get stung, just try again. To avoid Bee Stings, run indoors to the nearest building, as quickly as possible and the bees will disperse.

Q: What are rainbows?

A: Rainbows randomly appear during the hours of 1 to 3 PM after rain, thunderstorms, or even snow. You'll notice them gleaming in the sky, Unfortunately, they serve no purpose other than looking pretty.

Q: Why do villagers in other towns have different looking houses?

A: There are six different house designs for villager houses; Brick, Renaissance, Blue, Pink, Colored, and Barn. Each town is assigned at random two of these villager house designs.
