A: The "Ninth slot" refers to a memory slot in the Animal Crossing Wild worlds data bank. When an animal resident moves out of your town it gets transferred to this "Ninth Slot". Now, what's it for you may be asking, well, here's how it works. When over wifi for example, you visit a friend town lets say. Now, visiting that town will give their game (your friends) your ninth slot villager, and replace it to there ninth slot. Meaning, the next villager whom moves in to there town, will be that "Ninth slot villager". So, Essentially the ninth slot animal is the animal moving into your town next.

Q: Why do villagers in other towns have different looking houses?

A: In the game there is three sets of town types. Town type A, B, and C. In each town type, includes different grass shapes (Triangle, square, and circle) as well as how the villagers houses will look. One type includes is a more duller color, one type includes a theme of blues purples and tans, the other is in between, and has a "Checkered" type pattern on villagers doors.

Q: How do I get a residents picture? Will a villager give me another picture if I lost the first?

A: Pictures are given to you from an animal after you have befriended him/her enough to a point when the picture is given to you. Some tips on befriending an animal is to Wave to them(Tap on them from distance with the stylus), send them letters, Talk to them daily, aswell as complete tasks and general favors. Some animals, depending on there personality, may take a shorter, or longer time to receive a picture from. If you lose your first pic, the villager will not give you another. But there is one way to get a villagers picture more than once; this is by creating another character and Starting the friendship process with that villager until he or she gives you that picture again using the other character.

Q: What are Hybrids?

A: Hybrids are 'special' flowers that are not able to be gotten via Tom Nooks, or any other item gathering center. (Garbage dump, lost and found, From a resident, etc.) To obtain a hybrid flower, you must place two of the same type of Flower next to each other. Either Diagonal or side to side.
