Has anyone done either of the Maple Treeway mega shortcuts?
I never did get the angles right.

*Spins out* Drat, BB got me again.

Funky Stadium is best for coin runners.
GBA Battle Course 3 is best for balloon battles.

Chris- I've done one of them, just after the huge cannon. But it doesn't gain any time. But it is quite cool.

^ yeah, you don't get a lap. After the cannon, to the left/right (forgot which) theres a little bump facing another part of the lap. Mini turbo onto it.

Does anyone know about the Toads Facory mini-shortcut? Towards the end of the course, before the zippers?

Yup. Not much of a shortcut... but every little bit helps.

I get annoyed because you can't do a trick on the ramp going out of the factory if you want to use the shortcut. I should know.

I hate when you try to do that but your kart gets too much air and you can't turn fast enough.

^Yeah, and then it fails and wastes time T_T It gets so annoying!

Anyways last night I was playing the SpeedMario up agaisnt another SpeedMario. It was funny.

Also @ TheDoomThing: GBA is the best for baloons battle for you. There is no way to tell whats the best course to play in for more than one person, since most of us have all diffrent opinions.

Honestly, I think GBA Battle course is a let down.

GBA Battle Course is probably my favorite Battle stage. It's simplistic, but still good.

I haven't done online battles for awhile now...

I have seen a spiny shell fly to me, but then I evaded it successfully!

Nice, I've only managed to do that about twice, both by accident. (Not counting when you hit the barrel cannon right before it hits you.)
