My town is in complete void. I hardly visit it anymore, since there isn't much to do. I only have around $20,000 in my bank and $5,000 always in my hand. I still have a whopping $212,000 debt which needs to be paid, and weeds are growing everywhere. No, I'm not talking about an inspirational speech to give me morale, I'm talking about ways to make money! Suggestions?

Do you have any foreign fruit? I started making money by selling the fruit to Nook. He only gives you 100 bells for your native fruit and 500 for any foreign fruit.

Also, buy turnips from Joan on Sunday mornings. The red turnips sell for 1000 bells, water it every day and sell on the following Sunday for 16,000.
The white turnips- prices vary from Joan, mine have never sold for over 105 each. Check with Nook twice a day, before noon and after for his turnip prices. I've been buying turnips every week since June and have only lost money once. It's a gamble, like the stock market, but you can make a lot of money.

Do not time travel if you hae bought any turnips. They will rot and then you've lost your money.

Fishing could make you a lot of money real fast. And its easy too!

and with November coming up you can make loads of money off the mushrooms. One is worth 10,000 every day and there's five in total, although one is a furniture piece. If you are in the summer play in the evening and catch beetles, they are worth lots too.

Thank you to all who chipped in tips towards my town. I decided to restart my whole town, since it was a flop. The result? A booming 5-figure salary beach town. Again, much gratitude.

I am sure you are set for making cash but these things help me.
i plant 5 of each foren fruit trees because it will fill up your pockets to give you 7500. (8 of the coconut trees).
i hunt down the money rock, buy digging 3 holes around where i stand so i can hit the rock with my shovel, without bouncing back. you can earn upto 4500.
you can all so shake your trees for cash and 2 peices of furniture plus you can catch the bee to sell for 4500.

Easiest way to make money:
Go to the general forum, then sub forum Giveaways.
Look up Animal Crossing Shoppe.
Order15 royal crowns to be delivered to you.
Sell crowns to Nook.
Bank 4,500,000.00 bells.
Pay off loans and never worry about money again.

This way all you have to do is play, water, fish, chat, landscape and totally enjoy the game.

NO more money problems!!

Paying off the loans are a good incentive to keep playing, but you don't have to pay them off right away. You can also enjoy doing normal things when income is slow.

If you fall into the routine of playing just to earn bells, you'll soon realise you're not so much as playing the game as you are working for it.

This is slightly off the original subject, but I didn't realize you could catch bees! Elli Mae, any tips?

Also, I agree that the money rock is the best deal. I have gotten even more money, sometimes I get a bag worth 4000! But usually it stops at 2000. I have heard this has to do with your feng shui.

Now Suzyq i just want you to know that i only play AC:WW. i do not have a wii so i don't know any thing about CF. but here is what i do in my town. empty my pockesta so i have plenty of space for the bells. i also have my net out in one of the pocket spaces. when i see a hive drop i press Y right a way and equipt the net. than i watch the bees to see witch way they are flying and when the change direction is when i quickly press B and A at the same time.  some time i am successful and many times i am not. you do need the Bee for your musem collection of bugs. soo give it a try.

SuzyQGirl: In AC:CF, make sure your net is the only tool in your pocket. Shake the tree and when the hive drops, run north at least 1/2 acre but not more than 1 full acre. Hit <- or -> to equip your net, which will automatically face you south (where the bees are coming from). DON'T swing right away. Wait until you see the bees get close to swarming you, then swing. It takes a couple of tries to get the swing timing right but once you figure it out, you'll rarely get stung. Then you can sell them for 2,500 bells apiece to Nook. If you haven't cut down any fruitless trees since you started the game, you should find 5 hives a day. And you can't shake bees out of trees when your gate is open. (Oops, that was long but hope it helps!)
