Hmm. It wasn't that bad it is the SIC who pulled it all together so you have to give them credit for that. I thought it was pretty good.

Looking over it a second time, I believe that the ACC Official Newsletter Issue 1 was a firm introduction to a new line of thought and widespread news. I can't help but think that it needs a whole lot more meat to the bone, though. Perhaps interviews could be implemented, as someone earlier suggested. How about a user-submitted art/comics section? (And if it's too much, it could possibly be a weekly or monthly thing.)

I think that this was a good newsletter produced by the SIC but I have some constructive criticsim.

I think that this revolved around the SIC, all announcements posted were ones that the SIC had been involved in. I would add a responce thread. For instance if lots of suggestions/questions were posted on one subject a general reply could be posted or an excert taken from the SIC work list. I also think a general site excert could be taken, for instance the Official Riddle Contest question. In my school newsletter it has a timetable (which could be impllemented as a current things happening on ACC (for instance a few quotes from a SIC/Staff meeting. Different Sections (which could be implemented as Games/Site categories. I also think an Inside the Staff section where a Staff could reveal lots of stuff about them (not getting to personal). I also think Forum Awards shoud go out to threads or users for a specific thing.

Nice suggestions there.

I did like it, but I think there should be less images, and more text.

This newsletter is so cool because members can now submit things about they want to share about their game acww or acf how their house, town and weather in game is doing. Plus report any new ideas of game strategies they come up with. Have town parties and holiday stay overs adds. Oh the possiblities are quit endless. There could flea market ads
whats for sale in each town. There could Animal birthday cake adds to come and celbrate that towns Animal birthday by bringing them a cake and gift. It could be under Animal birthdays visits add. Well I would like to write the Animal birthday add page from who summits their birthday Animals. The winner is the one who gets written up by summiting as early as possible.If this sounds really good to you then please pt me about this further and post here to. Thanks.

That would be really unfair to a lot of members. And, the first submitted could be a really bad article, and many worthy ones should be accepted. The newsletter needs more that just one article, too.

Just keep in mind, everyone, that this was the first issue. You have to allow the newsletter staff time to spread their wings and get the paper noticed. Now that we know it is for real, and some of us have offered ideas, perhaps the next issue will be expanded upon. I didn't feel like the opening issue was biased at all, but it could do with some tweaking here and there and expanding in other areas. I'll definitely be reading the next issue once it is released and wish them luck with this endeavor.

I think the DNCL list article could have been worded better. It just didn't seem like it ws meant to show both sides evenly. When they do stuff like that, they should check it really carefully, because it is easy to accidentally favor 1 side.

So, what you appear to be proposing, is have a "roving reporter" make contact with both sides of an upcoming article and have them articulate the view points of both sides? Like show a pro's and con's type of deal and how this effects so and so? Well roundness (?) never hurt anybody.

Depends what side you're on!

I also think there should be reporters, that pt random people and interview them about different topics.

I think it's a great idea that you have it in a text version because I, using my cell phone to get on this site cannot use the real version! I can tell you guys put a lot of effort into this.

The Newsletter is a great idea! I loved the sound of it when I heard it was a maybe, depending on votes. That made me vote "DEFINITELY!"
