In the AC:GC catalog, it shows you can get fans and pinwheels? How are they obtained? by charatcer or e-cards

These are items that you can get during the Fourth of July festival. (I'm pretty sure)

I forgot about those. Now I have to wait a year until I can get them again!

I thought that you could get them on New Years too. But when I went to get them, it wouldn't let me get both types. I had to use a different town or maybe just a different character to get fans in the first one had pinwheels. I can't remember completely.

I thought they were on sale in a booth. I seem to remember buying Redd out of them - but it's been a while so my memory's a bit fuzzy.

You get them from Redd on a cart during fourth of july and new years plus Im pretty sure you get on in each bag you buy at nooks on sale day which is day after thanksgiving its a friday

They are really common in grab bags, I believe on the 4th of july there is some kind of booth, you can trade, and I think villagers can give it to you.

You can get them on the Fourth of July from Redd who is in a booth during the fireworks. And you can get more pinwheels by going to Nooks on Sale Day (which happens to be today) and buy grab bags. I'm pretty sure almost all of them have a pinwheel.
