Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them?
"OH! I always have a set way of doing this. I always read any new threads on the staff board first, then read new posts on the Site Support and Site Suggestions. Then go to any new Announcements, then new UTs, then FCRs, then PTs, then Flagged Threads."
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read?
"I usually only have one page of PTs, but I usually spill over to two pages. The most I've had is 4 or 5, but that was during my active JUG days. Most of mine consist of BTs, ACME threads, SIC stuff, TONG, Scout adoptee threads, and Staff stuff. And when I have a lot of threads to read, I say, mentally, "Ok, time to crack into the PTs *turns TV on and spends 5 hours on ACC"; this happens more often then naught. xD"
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day?
"Really depends how many newbies sign up that want us. At the moment, I'm only getting 1-3 a day."
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important?
"I have 16 stickied PTs, not all of them made by me, and every single one of them is important."
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten?
"I don't usually get dumb PTs. Some of them are just people wanting to chat with me, some are asking questions, and few are spam."
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member?
"I'd say about once a week someone IMs me or PTs me asking how to become one or to make them a Scout."

Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them?
"
I usually read them in this order:
1) Announcements 2) New Adoptees 3) Flagged Threads 4) Private Threads " How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read?
"
It depends how much time I spend offline. Usually if I log daily it shouldn't be more than 2 pages of new PT's. The most I've had is 4, but the number can increase drastically depending how much I'm offline. Most of my PT's consist on BT's, Giveaway Private Threads, adoptee threads, and random hi PT's or private chat threads.
" How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day?
"
I get about 1-2 most days, and on rare occasions 3.
"
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten?
"
Depends what you think of as a "dumb" PT.
" How many people PT you asking to be a staff member?
Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them?
It really depends on the day, how much time I have, and how many UTs we have in the queue. When I don't have alot of time, I'll quick scan my PTs to make sure there's nothing urgent that needs to be taken care of, and then go straight to UTs to check up on my outstanding (under discussion) tickets, comment on other tickets other mods need help with, and then I take care of as many tickets as I can in order of importance. Also if any of the important staff boards are flagged with new messages, I'll make sure to read them as well, and take care of any related issues.
On days when I have plenty of time, or days when I want to relax and not do modly things as much, I'll check to make sure there's nothing urgent in my PTs and in the ticket queue, and then I'll read my PTs from oldest to most recent, and then my flagged PTs from oldest to most recent. then I check out the Site Support board, the GG Off-Topic Board, and the AC:CF General board. If any of the internal social staff boards are flagged with new messages, I'll read those too.
If we've got a big backup of UTs, I'll generally ignore everything but emergency stuff, and go straight to plugging away at the UT list to try and get as many done as I can every time I'm online. That's not much fun when that happens.
Also, at any time, especially when I know I'm the only mod on or one of just a few, I will make sure to periodically check in on my PT list and the UT queue so I can take care of any emergencies that might come up.
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read?
If you mean of PT topics, I usually don't allow myself more than one page of PTs. If it gets bigger than that, I'll go thru and clear out all the old, inactive, or outdated ones. As a mod it's not too bad. I had more issues with PT management when I worked for a giveaway.
If you mean actual pages of posts inside the PTs, I'd say lots and lots. I'm added to a fair amount of BTs, many whose convos move very fast. I only tend to read those when I have done all my other tasks and read everything else. There are a very few staff or personal PTs that don't move quite so fast that I try to take the time to check in on every day. Most of them won't have had more than one or two pages of posts since the last time I read them.
I don't know what the most pages I've ever had is, but sometimes if it seems there are alot to read, I feel overwhelmed. On the one hand, there is really only one or two PTs I have to read for my mod duties, but on the other hand, socializing is also an important part of our job, so I try to be friendly and keep up with everyone's concerns. Sometimes it's difficult to stay on top of, though. But when it does, I just skip doing PTs for a while.
To keep things manageable, if a thread ever has more than 2 pages of posts for me to read, I just skip over all of them and go to the most recent page, sometimes backing up a page so I know what's going on.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day?
We don't get assigned specific tickets until we pick them up, it's just a big pool of tickets for all the mods. On good days, when we have a proper number of mods and we're not in school vacation season, the number is reasonable, like between 25 and 100 tickets in the queue. but it has gotten pretty bad before when conditions are otherwise. I think the most I've ever seen is like 450 tickets in the queue. When it's like that it will be like that for days while we each try to grab bunches. But, occasionally, things are so super slow that the UT queue is literally zero, so when a new ticket comes in, if there's several mods on we'll actually get in each others way trying to click on them, which is funny. Those days are nice because we can all relax and socialize around the site instead of doing tickets.
As for how many I personally process in a day, it's really hard to say. Sometimes you get just a few tickets that take you a couple of hours to figure out because they're complicated, or you need to get advice or opinions from others on. Or sometimes they're all easy and obvious spam tickets or things that should obviously be denied, that can be processed in just a few clicks. If I get a bunch of those I might do 30 or more in the same amount of time.
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten?
I don't get too many dumb PTs. It is annoying when someone has obviously broken a rule, but they don't like that they've got a ticket, so they try and PT like the entire staff to tell us we have to get rid of their ticket. Those don't happen too often, though. I think the dumbest PT I ever received was a totally random PT from someone I didn't know at all who said something like "I hate you, devil!!! ", and that was it. They never told me what their issue was, or why they might have been upset with me. I had had not prior interaction with them, and hadn't even processed any tickets on them. In fact, they didn't even have any recent tickets from any mods that I could see might have made them mad. It was totally random and bizarre. I got a pretty good laugh from that, though.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member?
Only a few, actually. I think it's mostly the Scouts and Admins who get those.
Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them? 1) New Adoptees 2) Announcements 3) Private Treads 4) Flagged Threads
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read? I've been sitting at four pages of PTs. Rarely look at anything past page one though; if it's important, it'll be on page one.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day? It depends on how many new members there are joining ACC around that time. Right now, it's about one a day, but there's also been times (around the summer) when everyone gets 10 adoptees a day.
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important? Two, and both are important and relevant to me. Otherwise why would I have it? =P
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten? I only really get annoyed when I don't understand what the person's asking me... "Dumb" isn't an adjective that describes my PTs. xP
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member? It's at least three times a month. At least.

Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them?
Announcements, Flagged Threads, Private Threads as far as order of threads go. This is how I generally handle them. I also have a number of staff boards flagged so if a new thread pops up on one of those I'll go to the board to read the new thread after clearing the annoucement. UTs usually come after I've checked up on the flagged and private threads.
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read?
I have right now 6 pages of PTs. Beleive me is was a lot worse when I was in JUG. At the most I've had 11 pages of PTs. Most of the pages that I do have now are old PTs I've sent or received. A lot of old warning PTs sent as a mod or inquiry PTs sent to gather more info on an issue. I'm due to go through and clean out.
Right now most of the PTs on the first page consist of ACME threads, PTs from members to the staff and a few BTs. I really don't have time to keep up with most of the PTs that are in my "inbox". It may be weeks before I check in on some of them. But the important ones I check more regularly.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day?
Mods don't get any tickets as has been pointed out. Tickets go into a queue and mods can select tickets from the queue. I don't know the statistics of how many tickets come in on an average day. Sometimes very few and sometimes a whole lot. Depends on the day, what's happening on the boards and if school is out for vacation/holiday.
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important?
I have 11 sticky PTs in my PT box. I have several more as flagged threads. I'd say most of them are important for some reason or another. They are stickied so they don't get lost
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten?
Sometimes I get annoyed with random PTs but I know as a mod that is par the course. It just becomes another PT I have to keep track of at least for a little while. With having 6 pages of PTs and a number of them going unread for long periods of time it is hard for me to reply to individual PTs I receive. It is often times that those PTs fall to the second page which usually means I won't see it. I don't really recall any dumb subjects for PTs I've received.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member?
I don't receive many PTs from members asking to be staff members. Once in a blue moon I may receive one or am included one sent to a number of staff members.

Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them? I usually see the announcement on the home page, so I don't bother actually click on the alert till later. Then if I have more than 2 or 3 adoptees, I'll click the adoptee alert next. If I only have, like, one adoptee, I'll click on Private Threads, and open any important threads, threads from my close friends here, or ones that look interesting/weird in new tabs. I'll look through them, and maybe post, and then click on Flagged threads. I'll open the most interesting/important in new tabs, read/post on them, and then click on the Site Related, Staff and Sic boards if there are any new threads there.
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read? I have four pages. The last page is mostly old threads that just stay there, like my SIC and Scout invitations, and PTs that are even as old as 2006. The third page is similar, with some dying BTs. The second and first pages are the ones I look at mostly, and I flag PTs so that I remember to reply.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day? 2-3, not many, really. there was a time a few months ago when I was getting loads of them.
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important? I have 7. They're not hugely important, in my case, but I like having easy access to them. 1. A club-type PT. 2. Staff related 3. Scout related 4. An old stickied PT from when I joined the SIC ages ago. there's no real point to it now, but I like having it there. 5. Another club/organization PT 6. Staff/site related PT 7. An old chat PT with someone that we didn't want to be archived.
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten? I don't mind funny random PTs. I get a few stupid PTs a week. It only annoys me if they either insult me, or if it's just a pointless PT that says 'CHEESE' or 'PENGUINS' or just has a smiley in it or something.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member? Not many PT to ask, but lots of new members ask me. Probably one every few weeks.

Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them? If there's any announcements, they come first. Then adoptees if I get any new ones. I check the staff boards for anything important. Then, I respond to several flagged threads, which a decent amount of them are PTs with 1 friend so that I can find them/keep up with them easily. I then check PTs in a set process of what usually goes first/last. Adoptee PTs usually are answered first, followed by checking certain giveaway threads. Random PTs usually come last, though I'm quick to lock something that was locked already. I rarely get FCRs anymore because I can't wifi anymore, so I don't have to worry about those.
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read? I normally have around 2 full pages of PTs, mainly consisting of giveaway threads/delivery PTs, chats with friends, and adoptee PTs. The most I've had was a 4th page at the height of the new CF members. That, for me, was sometimes overwhelming because I was used to 1-2. I've learned to give up only having one page because it's impossible with how much I'm involved in. I usually don't feel overwhelmed with tons of PTs because on a normal day I can check ACC several times a day. After a week's vacation during the summer... ok yes that was a little overwhelming then. =p I usually like catching up with PTs- it gives me something to do!
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day? Like other scouts said, it depends on the time of year and whether a new AC game is coming out. I was around for some of the new CF members and that was crazy- about 10 adoptees in a day! Now it's more like 1 a day, 2 if I'm lucky because school probably takes up the majority of the potential new members' times.
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important? I have 9, and yes, most are very important to me.
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten? I've had some really random and out-there PTs every so often. Most of the "random PTs" that I get contain questions by members, random BTs I'm added to, and sometimes random buddy clean-outs. Most are genuinely not dumb, but there's not one PT in mind that I remember as being dumb.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member? I'd say a few per month. They aren't asking to be a staff member, but more like how to become one or some advice on how to become one. My adoptees usually ask me these questions, but occasionally I'll have a random member PT me about it.

Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them? Announcements, Flagged, and Private. (Tackle the long ones last, haha)
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read? I have 7 now, but I've had a ton more in the past. Don't remember my top though. It's a bit overwhelming to check so many PTs, but in the end it's not that bad.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day? There were times when we had scout shortages when we had TONS. As of now, only 2-3. (Very nice, especially since I'm busier now as opposed to before).
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten? Eh, I get plenty of these PTs. Too many to list.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member? Refer to answer above. That question would probably win 'most typed sentence on ACC".
Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads [and, for mods, UTs and Notifications]: You just signed on. In which order do you read them? I have always gone in this order, PT's FT's Favourite Boards. Depending ont he number of UT's I will dip in and out of them as I go around.
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read? Um.....ok....yes, I currently have 56 pages of PT's. Listen, I don't clean them out and as they do not get arcjived they have been getting saved since I became a scout at the end of 2003. They changed over time, from Scout stuff, then mod stuff and now admin stuff. I kinda just skip any Hi PT's as I know they are not going to be important right away, but I try to always go back and read them all. It doesn't bother me when I have hundreds to read, it's all part of being a Site Manager.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day? As other mods have said, they are not assigned. In the queue, it all depends on how many there are. Sometimes we are on top of things and they are low, like now (As of typing) but sometimes it can get high. I think the highest number I ever saw was 800+
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important? Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten? 24 stickied (3 of those admin locked) As SM they are all important. There are no dumb PT's, it's all in the mind. I get a lot of PT's that are to do with announcements, and the questions are usually explained in the announcement. When making announcements I always try to include all that information that I can so I don't get those PT's.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member? I probably get a few every day.

Flagged threads, Announcements, Private threads: You just signed on. In which order do you read them?
I always read these in the same order, in an attempt to get rid of the red alerts as quickly as possible and, unintentionally, it's also in the order of most important.
First, I check announcements, then flagged threads and lastly private threads.
How many pages of PTs do you normally have? What's the most you've had, and what do most of them consist of? How do you feel when you have hundreds of threads to read?
Normally, I have 3 pages of PTs and that's the most I've ever had - I don't let my inbox get any bigger than that. Most of them consist of PT's between me and my adoptees or recruits for ACME. Most of the time I don't actually need to read all of them, for example, if one page of my inbox is full of recruits, I can easily go through and remove myself from them after noting that the person has met quota. I don't mind reading through my PT's, what's annoying is when you get the new private message alert as it always distracts me from clearing out my inbox.
How many user tickets (for mods) and newbie adoptees (for scouts) do you get a day?
It varies a lot. So far today I've only had 1 adoptee, but sometimes get 3.
How many sticky PTs do you have and do you think they are important?
I have 9 sticky PT's and out of that 9, 8 are ACME related and the other 1 being Scout related... so all very important to me.
Do you get annoyed with dumb PTs? How many do you get? What is the dumbest PT subject you have gotten?
Being a scout, I don't mind the "dumb" PT's, especially seeing as I don't get them that often.
How many people PT you asking to be a staff member?
Every now and again I get a PM asking how to become staff, but again, that doesn't happen very often.
