I hear around a lot that some people still say Anakin was suppose to be the chosen, but turned to the Dark Side. Just saying. He did bring balance to the force by carrying Darth Sidious to the Center of the Death star. I just keep reading that. Here on eBay, a summary I just read

I'd like to see a battle between Anakin/Darth Vader (doesn't matter) vs. Yoda...

Yoda would really own Anakin.. he wouldn't stand a chance.

It matters if he has the power of the Dark side. If he's w/o his armour (helmet etc.) He would own. Even the Darth Sidious said that "His apprentice will become more powerful then both of us" When Yoda vs. Sidious. Anakin would've killed the Emperor, but him in his Armour made him slower and weaker.

I've been taking Quizes over the internet on "Which Star Wars Character are you?" and I motly end up as Anakin Skywalker. Like 92% of the time, and the rest is between Darth Vader/Sidious.

I do that too, and i usually get Luke. That's y he's my favorite character. here's my episodes in order.

If Obi-Wan could defeat him, Yoda surely could, even after he was properly trained. And no... lol... it doesn't matter what side of the force your on.. you can still be better than the dark side.. I can't believe you think Anakin could stand a chance... Yoda did give Sidious a really tough challenge, even in episode 6, darth vader wasn't as powerful as Sidious was.

No, in Ep. 6, he had his armour, of which I was talking about. which made him weaker. Anakin only lost because he was over-whelmed by the power of the dark side. And in his cockiness, he thought he could defeat Ben and was off and got chopped into lava, if he had training for a few more years he would've won. And Sidious won the battle in Ep. 3, Yoda fleed and Sidious went after that and found Anakin wounded. And yes, the really only way to deat the dark side is by anger.

Darth Maul- Obi-Wan got angry and used the force to get back up and killed him.

Count Dooku- Anakin used his anger to kill him

Darth Vader- You saw Luke chop his hand off.

As for Sidious, he died the same way Anakin become a Robo Bro, by defying his weaknesses. Sidious never thought that Vader would get up and throw him down, how did Vader do that... anger. Because he was killing Luke.

Ben pretty much killed himself. He let vader kill him to save luke and the others by giving them more time.

And he could tell Luke about yoda without vader knowing

LOL! Obi Wan did NOT get killed by Darth Vader's skills. It's just a LITTLE obvious he let himself be killed. And excuse me? Obi-wan didn't just wound him.. he was in a position to kill him, so don't say that he only wounded Darth Vader and that Darth Vader killed obi-wan with any skill. Oh, and you can overcome the dark side without Anger. o_O

Oh, and I don't recall Luke chopping Darth Vader's hand off. And Luke was not angry at anyone during the final battle.

I said that Yoda fleed, so what is your point?

I don't get it, you keep blaming his bad fighting skills on his armour. I really don't think Darth Vader is THAT much weaker in Armour.

You could say that Ben commited suicide. He purposely killed himself so he could become one with the force, and help Luke when needed most, which became his all-powerful Jedi. Hence Ben's trademark line, "If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can imagine."

It was more a self-sacrifice than suicide though. Think I used and & oh enough in my last post?

What does anyone think about ben yoda and anikin coming back as spirits at the end(anikin back as a young jedi) I understand what they were going for(They wanted to say anikin changed back)But what do you think

I don't see anything wrong with it.


Although a (sort of) plot hole in the prequels is why the Jedi don't disappear when they die, unlike Ben & Yoda did.

Ooh, I never thought about that..
I like the older method of them disappearing best though.
