ACWW Weather Guide (V.3)

Day Weather

Sun: Happens all year.
This weather condition is very common but beneficial when trying to complete collections e.t.c. You can often find present balloons (or sometimes Gulliver!) often in this weather condition. Description: No clouds at all, best time to find bugs and fish. You can often find present balloons often in this weather condition.

Very light clouds: Happens all year (about 1-5 clouds on the screen)
Common, you can sometimes find balloon presents/Gulliver in this weather. Still a good time to find bugs/fish. Description:A few occasional clouds but not too much. Can easily turn into heavy clouds or rain.

Light Clouds: Happens all year (about 6-8 clouds on the screen)
Also common, you can sometimes find balloon presents/Gulliver in this weather. Still a good time to find bugs/fish. Description:A few occasional clouds but not too much. A bit more clouds than very light clouds. Can easily turn into heavy clouds or rain.

Fairly heavy clouds: Happens all year (about 10 clouds on the screen)Common,you can sometimes find balloon presents/Gulliver in this weather. Still a good time to find bugs/fish. Description: Almost covers the whole screen in that gray stuff! There are gaps in the cloud often though.

Heavy clouds: Happens all year. (all of the screen covered in cloud) Common. You can very rarely see balloons or Gulliver in this weather but there is not usually anything like this is when this weather is present. Description: No sky in the background just cloud. Can often lead to storms or rain/snow.

Rain: Happens all year.
Some balloons but Gulliver is extremely rare in this weather. All villagers outside have their umbrellas up. Usually starts from clouds when a new hour starts but can suddenly appear even after sun. You can find the (weather dependant) Coelacanth and snail in this weather! Can last for a whole day. Description:
Long spears of rain falling fairly slowly. You can hear the rain splashing when you run.

Storm: Only happens in Summer.
No present balloons or Gulliver in this weather either. And again all of the outside residents have their umbrellas up. Description: Heavy rain and the occasional bolt of lightning. Rain and thunder can be heard from inside buildings.

Snow: Restricted to Winter when there is snow on the ground.
The only other time that you can catch a coelacanth! You can get Snowman furniture now! Just make a perfect snowman! Description: Can be quite heavy snow-fall at times but is usually very light.

Rainbow: Happens all year.
Some present balloons may appear and Gulliver is possible.
Description: Clear skys with a rainbow. The rainbow can be very hard to see but sometimes gets brighter. Happens after heavy or normal rain.

Night Weather:

Clear: Happens all year
Depending on the time you can sometimes see Gulliver but no balloons. Description: Just clear, you can see the moon and all stars/constellations.

Clouds: Happens all year
You can find Gulliver as long as it's before 12pm but it is rarer than a clear night. Still no balloons though. Clouds may vary but this doesn't affect much. (Except heavy night cloud. See below.) Description: A few gray clouds travel across the sky, blocking out constellations/the moon if they pass over them.

Heavy Clouds: Happens all year
Gulliver is a lot rarer than on a clear night but can be found as long as it's before 12pm. Again, no balloons. (Me thinks them balloons don't like the night!

) Description: Almost the whole sky is covered apart from the occasional gap. Other than that it's gray all over!
